All the walls are made from stone cut from the Hope Estate and all the rafters, studs, louvres and windows are engineered and fabricated in Brazil from kiln dried ipe. The separate master bedroom cottage, reached by a short stone path through tropical gardens, sleeps 2 and boasts an antiquated hardwood four-poster bed and Brazilian kiln dried Ipe flooring. The interior bath has two sinks, custom hand painted tile counter and marble floor. The bedroom opens on the ocean side to a wooden deck, wonderful for sleeping under the tropical night skies or relaxing in the shade of the verandah roof, and on the other side to a private sumptuous walled garden overhung with flowering tropical vines and an antique French porcelain bathtub with claw and ball feet standing on the local rounded pebble floor. The opportunity to take a deep, relaxing bath under the star studded Bequian sky is another fantastic feature of this stunning property. As you enter the cottage hallway there is a separate room on the ocean side which can be used as a dressing room, artists studio, or guest room for a visiting child or single guest. The architect designed space uses the elevated position, high ceilings, wrap around verandahs and local trade winds to naturally air-condition the living and sleeping spaces. The cottage is built from Brazilian Hardwood with all the interior floors made from kiln dried ipe. The interior walls and closed board roofing are made from kiln dried Brazilian Yellow Heart. The kitchen and vanity cabinets in the guest cottage are all made from Brazilian kiln dried ipe The guest cottage has unique private cobble courtyards for each bedroom, with outside showers. These add to the natural atmosphere of the property and are a very appealing feature for guests The rooms have been beautifully designed using local and renewable materials all having tall, paneled ceilings, wide expansive windows and flooring that is cool to the touch. The exterior floor has been finished in new French terracotta tiles. The Cottage is surrounded by landscaped tropical plants, with fruits and nuts that perfume the warm trade winds encouraging restful sleep and relaxation. At Hope Point, located within the Plenty Wind Estate, there is a hardwood gazebo which, perched high on the cliff face, offers a perfect reflection point with outstanding views over the remote beach of Anse La Coite, Marley Bay, Ocean Ridge and Park estates, and across the Caribbean Sea to the dramatic windward islands of Battowia and Balliceaux as well as views to the southern shores of the island of Saint Vincent and over its wind sculpted hills and distant high mountain peaks. From this perch one might spot an ancient iguana climbing a distant cactus as Frigate / Man-O-War birds soar and circle at eye level in the sea breeze. Guest House Floor Plan Infinity Pool & Sundeck Plenty Wind has one of the most dramatic, natural and stylish of infinity pools on the island.
