ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Freshmen – Applying directly from high school:
• Original transcript (in English) with overall Grade
Point Average* of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale
• Personal application essay.
Graduate
• Students must meet GPA* of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0
grading scale
• Two letters of recommendation & personal essay
• University transcript with the credit evaluation of
original transcripts to the American grading system
using WES or Joseph Silny. GRE and GMAT scores
may be required depending on the program.
• GPA may vary by program.
Transfer – Students transfering credits to Daemen:
• Must meet overall Freshmen GPA requirement
• Personal application essay
• Provide original university transcript with the credit
evaluation of original transcripts to the American
grading system using WES or Joseph Silny.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
Most undergraduate and graduate programs require a
minimum 79 TOEFL or 6.5 IELTS or ELS level 112.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES
An important part of your college experience happens outside of the classroom, and we hope you get
involved in the different student clubs (business, arts, fraternities, leadership,…) and activities that
Daemen offers. International students may take advantage of our Global Programs services.
NCAA DIVISION II & SPORTS
In the prestigious NCAA Division II, Daemen is embarking on a transformational endeavor. The Intramural
program offers a variety of sports such as volleyball, tennis, soccer, basketball… for our entire student
population.
CAREER ADVISEMENT
Career advisement provides assistance to all Daemen students regarding academic planning, college
success skills, career search and much more.
Academic coaching is free to all Daemen College students. It helps on reviewing lecture information and
assisting in focusing on what is most important as you prepare for tests.
