Demolition Derby – Sunday, July 24, 7:00 p.m. 18 2016 Big Tent Entertainment Friday, July 22 – One Eyed Jack 7:30PM Saturday, July 23, 7:30 PM Mr. Speed – The Best KISS tribute band ever. They stood toe to toe at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas with three other KISS tributes for the title of "Best KISS Tribute Band In The World". When the day was over they were crowned the winners by none other than Tommy Thayer. Sunday, July 24th, 7:30 PM Wyatt McCubbin is an up-and-coming local country music singer and songwriter with a deep and mature voice that doesn't quite seem to match his 20 years of age. This young prodigy is already light-years ahead of his peer group. Drawing from traditional roots, Wyatt seeks to follow in the footsteps of famed traditionalist like Vern Gosdin, Hank Williams Jr., and Waylon Jennings. Opening for Wyatt are locals Gretchen Mitchell and Tyler Cooper at 6:30 pm. Phil’s reign of signature songs include 10 No. 1 singles and 26 Top 40 hits, including "Carlene," "Just Another Day in Paradise," "Six-Pack Summer," "That's When I Love You" and many more. Vassar was racking up hits on the radio long before he even began his own recording career that has seen the release of six albums, two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year trophies, ACM’s Top New Male Vocalist and sold-out shows across the country. Vassar's songwriting career blossomed in the mid-’90s when he landed a publishing contract with EMI and penned hits for Collin Raye ("Little Red Rodeo"), Alan Jackson ("Right on the Money"), Tim McGraw ("For a Little While"), Jo Dee Messina ("Bye Bye," "I'm Alright"), and BlackHawk ("Postmarked Birmingham"). He signed a record deal of his own with Arista in 1998 and was named ASCAP's Country Songwriter of the Year in 1999. Vassar continues to churn out incisive, soulful lyrics and infectious melodies that capture the heart and soul in the unique and special way that only he can. 20 Friday, July 22nd, 7:30 pm: One Eyed Jack – Local Rock Band Midway Entertainment Friday, July 22nd thru Sunday, July 24th The Flying Pages Aerial & Equestrian Thrill Show - Husband and wife team, Willy and Jill Pages have been performing their flying trapeze act together since 1992, after enjoying successful careers as aerialists with various troupes. Willy Pages is the 3rd generation of the Pages Circus Family of Cuba. He spent the majority of his career performing with his brothers, Jorge and Felix, as the Flying Pages. Friday, July 22nd thru Friday July 29thth Franzen Performing Animals - Brian Franzen comes from a very active circus family and has literally grown up with elephants. Every show is entertaining, educational and consists of balancing acts, sitting and carrying. All Week Long Bear Hollow Wood Carvers – Did you ever think of a chainsaw as an artistic tool? In the right hands, this instrument can turn a log into an amazing sculpture.
