Here are 13 reasons why we put one of these 1,000 bu/hr DRIERS on OUR Farm
1. They have NEVER BURT ONE DOWN & it can be left unattended day & night therefore,
Grain @ 5% moisture @ 1000 bph x 24 hr/day x 7 days per week = 168,000 bu/week.
2. Only 5 moving parts. 3 Fans, 1 Bed chain, 1 Discharge Auger & is completely WEATHER Proof.
3. It has a Positive Chain feed, with infinitely variable speed, running over a louvred bed, no screens.
4. The drier does NOT have to be Emptied to Switch Crops, One crop follows on after the other Crop
& the chain stops when the new crop reaches the discharge. Run the chain manually to clean out
the drier & the brush on one slat sweeps the drier clean.
5. They are very Quite & CLEAN, Collect the fines & chaff at the end of the drier for high Protein
Cattle Feed instead blowing it all over the farm yard.
6. They come ASSEMBLED, completely WIRED & completely PLUMBED from the factory.
SET UP On site setup by OUR SERVICE Supervisor w/ minimum of two men by the customer.
7. The Drier comes complete with its own AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL
8. They are Compact 1000 bph is 40’Long x 13’ Wide x 19’ High & weigh 26,400 lbs, built to last.
9. They are great for drying Malt barley & all Seed grains due to the LOW HEAT & HIGH AIR
VOLUME with a Positive feed system.
10. They have DRIED Wheat, Barley, Oats, Canola, Linseed, Peas, Beans, Maise, Rice, Cotton seed,
Sunflower, Cocoa Beans, Coffee Beans, Grass Seeds, Sugar Beat Pulp, Malted Sorghum, Bread
crumbs, Sawdust, Wood chips, Potato peelings, Calcified Seaweed.
11. Driers are available in NATURAL GAS, PROPANE or DIESEL fired. The drier Requires 50kw,
3 phase 480 volt 60 cycle power (Power line) or Generator. We sell a new 3 phase 150kw JD diesel
powered generator for $36,000 to supply 50kw to the drier leaving 100kw for your grain handling
system. One customer starts his Generator with a Command Start from his Grain Truck.
The Generator averages 2 to 3 gals of diesel per hr. Natural GAS Burner Requires 5 million BTU,
from a 2”Gas Riser max 10 psi regulated down to @ 1/2 PSI. Recommend Cement pad 60’x 20’ x
8” thick. Drier wt 26,400# Natural Gas & Propane burners are purchased in Canada.
The Drier uses std parts (bearings, motors, & panel parts available in Canada & from our stock.
12. This drier recycles air from the cooled grain to the burner, making them 25% more fuel efficient.
13. INSURANCE IS 65% LESS THAN REGULAR DRIER INSURANCE eg. $250,000 value x.90
per 100 =$2,250 per year. We pay $250,000 x.23=$575 per year. Savings of $1,675 per year.

2. Trace Chain
Counter on-off
Trace chain counter set for auto shutoff when changing grain. Eg: You are drying wheat & the Low Limit
switch shuts the drier down because you are out of wheat, SWITCH to canola & put 134 in this counter &
the chain will stop when the end of the wheat gets to the discharge. Switch dry bins & continue to dry canola.
NO NEED TO EMPTY THE DRIER FROM ONE CROP TO THE OTHER.

Performance Adjustments
3 main variables you can adjust for best performance
BED DEPTH
BED SPEED
DRYING TEMPERATURE
Max performance requires MAX AIR VOLUMN but
light crops (canola ) requires a deeper Bed Depth or
reduced Air Flow. If too much air floats the CROP it
will make piles on the LOWER BED & plug the drier,
THEN ITS GRAIN VAC TIME & down time.
To Switch Dryer to Auto
Run on manual until grain at discharge is correct MOISTURE %
Note number on Digital trace chain counter display (write it down)
Turn Function switch to AUTO
Turn auto set knob to set digital display to noted number then lock
Auto drying is now set.
“Note Burner temp is adjusted with Hot air plenum control
