DollarWise Details
DollarWise is a FREE financial literacy program offered
by Coastway Community Bank. Sessions are lead by
Jane Kratsch, a Coastway Assistant Branch Manager
and financial educator.
Sessions are tailored to your organization’s needs.
Number of participants, age of participants, length and
number of sessions are all customizable.
Participants come away with a series of worksheets
designed to help them manage their finances in the
future.
Credit Basics: What is credit?
How do my actions affect my
credit? How can I use credit
responsibly?
The DollarWise program is not an advertisement for
Coastway. The information provided in the modules is
broad and generic. Many sessions are guided by the
participants’ experience level and the type of questions they ask.
Budgeting Basics: What am I
earning each month? What
do I owe in bills and
expenses? How can I cut back
on my expenses?
Organizations that have taken advantage of DollarWise
include the Providence Housing Authority, Youth in
Action, West Elmwood Housing Development Corporation and others.
