Tuscarawas County 4-H
Quilt Square Trail
Thanks to the efforts of numerous 4-H clubs, barns
owners, and business sponsors in Tuscarawas County,
painted wooden quilt squares now dot the countryside.
Quilt barns represent the combined interests of
agriculture and art. They are a bridge between the
past and the present. During the 2012 Quilt Fest,
the public was invited to help paint six 4-foot quilt squares. Where better to
hang the quilt squares than at the fairgrounds - a meeting place for people as
diverse as the quilt squares themselves. Discover all 6 patterns at the fair!

make an educational exhibit featuring some phase of the
agricultural industry.
Exhibits should be educational in nature and should be built
around some theme or point. It is better to have exhibits tell

attracts attention.
Expert judges will be employed and each organization will be
scored on their exhibit according to the following scorecards:
Each Juvenile Grange in the county will be given a maximum
of $55 for an educational exhibit scored on the same basis
as the Adult Granges.

100 percent for perfect.
1. The purpose of this exhibit shall be to inform the public on any
phase of agriculture in Tuscarawas County.
