Roam is Banff ’s public transit service offered by the Bow Valley Regional Transit Services Commission. Our buses
help you roam around town in an environmentally friendly way, just like Banff ’s grizzly bears, mountain goats and wolves.
Leave your vehicle where it is, head to one of our convenient bus stops and hop on board.
For quicker service, PLEASE HAVE EXACT FARE.
Each Roam bus is equipped with an electronic farebox, which
accepts our chip enabled smartcards. It also accepts U.S. and
Canadian currency. However our fare boxes do not accept
pennies and bills larger than $20.
CHANGE IS NOT PROVIDED ON THE BUS
A change voucher is provided which can be redeemed at specific
locations in Banff and Canmore. Voucher reimbursement
locations hours vary.
