Making Your List and Checking It Twice
With Christmas just a few weeks away, you can give yourself a nice commission check right before and after the holidays
by taking action now! On your to-do list: Have your own VIP Open House in December for all your Hosts from the past year
(rebook them for January), schedule a Show on the Go with someone, find someone who loves to entertain to have a fun
holiday party (cookie exchange anyone?), participate in a Holiday vendor event…and you’ll reap the rewards. Make your list
and check it twice! Fill your January NOW from your December activity. Also be sure to participate in our New Year, New Look
Booking Blitz!

December & January Success Checklist
Take a look at your January calendar! Is it half-full, half-empty or half
thought of at this time of year? It’s easy to procrastinate booking Shows
into January but we’ve got you covered! Start now with our Success
Checklist and make sure you start 2014 with success! Don’t be left
behind at the start of a brand new year!
Here are four tips to start shaping up your January!
1.Start booking now! If you wait too long, people will get preoccupied
with the holiday season and have no time to get their Guest List back
to you. Have your January calendar full by the first week of December.
Today is your day!
2.Be prepared for possible bad weather! Have a couple of “snow dates”
available. If your Host cancels due to the weather, immediately let her
know what your “snow date” options are.
3.Entice your all December Guests to book a January Show with our
incredible January Host Bonus! Everyone loves shopping for FREE and
we’ve sweetened the pot and offered Hosts an extra $100 FREE, along
with some fun specials going on in January. Let’s not forget—the
brand new product line!
4.Schedule your own January Host Appreciation Event for early January.
Invite all 2013 Hosts. Let them see the new catalog and get excited
about the Show they’ve already booked in January or the Show you
will encourage them to book!
Here are some December Weekly Tips to keep you going to ensure you
have a solid January!
Week of December 1
• Hold live Shows and events this week to take advantage of the
biggest shopping season of the year!
• Get your Guest Lists back from your January Hosts during this week.
Getting them back early will ensure your Hosts won’t forget about
them during the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays.
• Order 2014 samples & supplies (catalogs, postcards and Planning
Calendar are available this week!)
• Listen to First Things First December promotions call. You can listen in
the Promos section.
• Prepare January invitations. During the second week of December,
address and stamp all the invites so they’re ready to put in the mail. This
will help you be prepared and ready as the holidays approach.
• Make Customer Care calls to all November Hosts and Guests.
Week of December 15
• Submit Shows so they ship in time for Christmas delivery.
• Continue to share Signature so that you continue to have commission
checks! Have a sample sale, Host appreciation event or holiday open
house. Find groups of ladies that want to treat themselves with a new
look for the new year by having a show this week. This is a great time of
the year to hold a fundraiser for your favorite charity.
• Send a holiday greeting card, Invitation Postcard or Mini-Catalog to all
past Hosts from 2013 with a personal note. Schedule time to call these
past Hosts and rebook Shows with them in January or February.
• Send the new 2014 catalog to January Hosts so they can start showing
friends and family at holiday gatherings.
Week of December 22
• Enjoy your family during this blessed Christmas week.
Week of December 29
• Hold new year Shows this week where customers have a last chance to
order the 2013 line and can get great deals after Christmas!
• Take just a few minutes this week to give your January Hosts a call
letting them know you are looking forward to their Shows and letting
their friends see all the incredible new product for 2014! Remind them
after all the Christmas shopping they may have done, it will be a lot of
fun to shop FREE!
• Prepare your Show Case for your upcoming January Shows and all the
excitement that a brand new product line brings!

New Representative Rewards Program Update
We are simplifying our New Representative Rewards Program for
2014. It will now have two levels to reach. In addition, with every
$2,500/$3,125 CDN in incentive sales during each Bonus month
during the New Representative Rewards they will earn an additional
supply package! For example, with $5,000/$6,250 CDN in sales new
Representatives will earn two supply packages. The sponsoring &
luggage portion of the progam will stay the same.
Here is how it will work:

Dates Office Will Be Closed:
The Signature HomeStyles office will be
closing at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013
and will open on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 in
Glendale Heights. Signature HomeStyles
also will be closed on Wednesday,
Jan. 1 for the New Year’s holiday.
Important Ship Dates:
The last 2013 ship date for all orders will by
Friday, Dec. 20 from 3945 Swenson Ave.,
St. Charles. We will resume shipping all
orders from 699 Regency Drive, Glendale
Heights on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.
Commission Checks:
Final 2013 commission checks/direct
deposits will be paid as normal on Tuesday,
Dec. 24. However, you will see a processing
date of Sunday, Dec. 22 in Members Only
Commission/Bonus Check Stubs. Weekly
commission checks will resume on Jan. 7, 2014.

Signature HomeStyles is on the move! We’re
excited to be moving to a new facility that
will reduce the commute time for most of
our employees. Our St. Charles building
owner is consolidating their operations
and requested to move into this facility
at the first of the year. We will be moving
the week of Dec. 23 to our new facility.
Employees are packing and preparing for
our upcoming move to our new facility in
Glendale Heights, Illinois. Our warehouse
has been moving product and setting up
operations so they will be ready to start
shipping our new 2014 orders in early January.

Why It’s My Favorite?
Of course I love it all, but I especially like the Tuscan colors and how we have brightened them up for
2014. Those are the colors people are using in their homes. The Daisy Print is going in my kitchen. It’s
like a breath of fresh air! And for our blue/brown customers I love the new Driftwood Runner and Pillow
Cover. The Lord Lead Me Framed Print is much more spectacular in person and is a great reminder to
grace any home.

Why It’s My Favorite?
I love the Inspirational wall featured on pg. 12. It says welcome home to me! The inspirational messages
are a great reminder for everyone that love starts at home.

Why It’s My Favorite?
Number one on my list is our new Circles Ultimate Frame and Circles Insert. It’s modern and I love the
design and neutral colors of the insert. The new Artistic Bloom Framed Print along with the Glitzy Glam
Runner and Pillow Cover in Grape is another one of my favorites. I think I will have to redo my room.

Why It’s My Favorite?
Parkside Linens and Crest Hill linens! These linens have great texture and color blending. They will go
with so many looks in the catalog. I also love the concept of the Art Gallery on pgs. 10-11. Wall decor is
such a great opportunity for us and this allow us to showcase several more selections and gives tips to
our customers, too!

Why It’s My Favorite?
I love to garden so the brilliant, bright pink and red hues of this print and the soft green palette in the
whimsical blooming vine runner and pillow cover (pg. 30) remind me of my garden in full bloom. When
spring arrives, I can’t wait to move this weatherproof print from the living room to the front porch! How
cool is that!

Transform Any Space with Color Palettes
Our freshest looks for 2014 feature color palettes. These easy-to-follow color
guides are splashed throughout the 2014 Idea Book to help customers design a
room. If your customers follow the 60-30-10% rule of the palettes, they will create
a well-balanced room. The first color or 60% of the room is the largest use of color
in the room such as the wall, carpet or flooring. The next color or 30% is used on
furniture, curtains or window coverings. Finally, 10% is for the splash of accent color
in the room! Help your customers quickly redo a room with this easy designer tip
