Construction & Features
• Welded Frame: 16-gauge steel seamless side-frame
construction, 14-gauge steel top and bottom, reinforced
at loadbearing junctions for strength equivalent to 11gauge steel.
• Open Front: Rack ships ready to accept optional surface-mount door.
• Rear Door: Includes solid steel recessed rear door with
key lock. (Door can be omitted by ordering Model No.
LGTR-5436-LRD.)
• Knockouts: Rear frame has removable knockout panels and combination knockouts for conduit wiring above
and below door (1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2"), plus BNC knockouts for UHF/VHF antennas.
• Mounting Rails: Two pairs of 11-ga. steel adjustable
rails with mounting holes tapped 10-32 and rack unit increments printed on EIA spacing. Rail clearance: front
rails to outside frame (flush) is 1.75 in.; front rails to inside
of (optional) surface-mount door is 2.5 in.
• Top Mounting Rails: 10U opening features rails with
tapped 10-32 mounting holes on EIA spacing. Close with
black steel panels included as shipping stiffeners or
mount optional 19"W accessories.
• Base: Includes grounding stud and provisions to add leg
levelers (optional) or anchor bolts (not included).
• UL Listed (UL2416): Load capacity 3150 lbs.
• EIA/TIA: Compliant.
• Hardware: Panel mounting hardware included.
• Finish: Black wrinkle powder epoxy.
• Origin: Made in U.S.A. with 100% Certified U.S. steel
A&E Specifications
The EIA/TIA compliant, UL Listed (UL2416) 19" gangable
equipment rack shall be Lowell Model No. LGTR-5436,
which shall measure 22"W x 36"D x 100.62"H (33.00" useable depth x 54U useable height). The rack shall be UL
Listed in the U.S. and Canada with a load capacity of 3150
lbs. Construction shall be fully welded 16-gauge steel frame
with 14-gauge steel top and bottom reinforced at loadbear-
ing junctions and finished with a black wrinkle powder
epoxy coating. The rack shall include a solid steel, recessed rear door with key lock and two pairs of 11-gauge
steel adjustable rails with mounting holes tapped 10-32
and rack unit increments printed on EIA spacing. The rear
frame shall feature knockouts (1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2") for
conduit wiring plus BNC knockouts for UHF/VHF antennas.Top shall feature integral rails with mounting holes
tapped 10-32 ready to accept blank panels included as
shipping stiffeners or optional 19"W accessories. The
base shall feature a grounding stud and provisions to add
optional leg levelers.

Options
Front Door (LFD-54): Solid, surface-mount front door with key lock mounts left or right without drilling.
Side Panels (SDP-5436): Solid panels increase rack width 1.25". Panels are split for maneuverability (i.e. There
are 2 pcs. per side). Black wrinkle epoxy finish. Sold in pairs.
Fully-vented Rear Door (LRND-54FV): Fully vented recessed rear door with key lock. To change from the standard
rear door with top/bottom vents to fully vented, order rack model LGTR-5436-LRD (less rear door) then order the fullyvented rear door separately.
Middle Depth Rails (RRNT-54): 54U rails tapped 10-32 can be adjusted to mount anywhere along side brackets (1 pr)
