Unique options for any layout
Several conveyor designs are available to better
assist each customer’s unique needs. Options
include, but are not limited to, driven or manual
conveyors, tilting or stationary stations and
donut, caster or airfloat tables. Specialized
equipment is available for loading large lites
or offloading large laminates.

Pre-laminate quality cleaning
Billco’s high production, durable glass washer is designed with features unique to the glass laminating
process. Load decks independently indexed from the washer allow for continuous or batch load
processing. The prespray section rinses glass of any loose packing materials to ensure minimal
downstream contamination. In the wash section, Low E compatible brushes protect the soft coatings of
coated glass. High-powered rinse and drying sections ensure glass is clean and dry for further processing.

The Screwjack 4-Corner Lift System provides the ability to easily access the interior of the machine
for any inspection or maintenance requirements. A simplified PLC touchscreen control system manages
processing with ease while providing easy troubleshooting.

Safe and efficient glass and laminate handling
The assembly conveyors are designed to most efficiently and safely handle large or stock size glass
lites. Each conveyor is center-driven to minimize the conveyor width, making access to the center
of the conveyor more convenient for operators. Automatic tensioning drives provide smooth, quiet
operation while reducing component wear. Each conveyor may be independently operated, offering
greater control over each stage in the process. Conveyor components are made of durable materials
that resist damage from trimming knives and ensure longer lasting components.

Precision heating for producing a quality laminate
The preheat and main oven are designed with many innovative heating and energy saving technologies
to provide the best quality laminate. Specially designed emitters allow the optimum amount of energy
to directly heat the interlayer. The exclusive automatic louver system accurately modulates oven
temperatures to allow for quick cool down and protection of oven components. When the oven is
not in use, the Energy Saving Mode activates and maintains the minimum amount of heat that will
allow for a quick startup.

Several maintenance friendly features are incorporated into the design to save time and money.
Stainless steel rollers require minimal maintenance and are easy to clean. Each oven is designed
with hinged Flip-Top™ access for easy maintenance of the internal machine components. The emitters
and secondary reflectors are each equipped with operational status LED lights and are easily accessible
by means of slide in/out rails.

Delivers precise, consistent pressure
The nip roll press can be operated via a remote adjustment feature from
the touchscreen. Precise compression tolerances are calculated and
applied to the unit, ensuring a constant laminate thickness. Side to side
roller position monitoring guarantees parallel pressing. Graphical
displays deliver real-time positioning to assist operation. Multilayer
laminate processing is possible, up to 31⁄2" thick.

Complete line control from one touchscreen system
Every line function from start to finish can be controlled from one stateof-the-art control system. Real-time information such as glass positions,
actual temperatures, nip roll pressures and more, is available to the
operator at the touchscreen. Recipe management can also be accessed
and maintained at the touchscreen. Once a recipe is chosen, all major
functions such as, nip roll height settings, temperature settings and line
speed automatically adjust. User-friendly help screens aid operators and
maintenance personnel to easily diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
