Slag Detection System for Ladle or EBT Furnaces
HiSLAG is an electromagnetic system providing accurate and reliable early
detection of slag in the teeming nozzle, and therefore preventing slag being
poured. HiSLAG enables ladle pouring, yield and quality of the heat to all
be optimized, providing excellent metallurgical and economic advantages.
HiLEVEL®
Mould Level Measurement
HiLEVEL is an electromagnetic mould level control system
aimed at continuous casting machines for small blooms and
billets. It can be used either for detection of the steel level in
the mould or measurement of casting powder thickness when
utilised in conjunction with a radioactive level sensor.
MD2000
Hot and Cold Magnetic Metal Detector Family
Toroidal metal detectors units, able to identify bar presence during rolling

In-Line Round Bar Surface Inspection System

cracks, holes and cavities, scale entrapments, overlaps and scale.
HiLINE® IFB
Roller Guide Calibration and Alignment System
HiLINE IFB is a calibration system designed to aid the operator during:

HiWEDGE®
Slab Wedge Gauge
HiWEDGE is a non-contact laser optical system for direct on-line
measurement of the wedge and the width of hot and cold slabs or plates.
When located up-stream of the roughing mill, the HiWEDGE
system can provide information to the rougher control to minimize
camber and to clearly identify any profile shape change.
Information provided by the system can also be used
at the caster to improve process control.
HiWIDTH®
Stereoscopic Width Gauge
HiWIDTH is a contactless sensor designed to continuously measure
the width and the centerline deviation of hot and cold flat products.
Stereoscopic principles ensure correct width measurement
irrespective of how the strip or plate is laying on or above
the roll table and without the need of backlight.

ID6000F
Centerline Deviation Sensor for Flat Products
ID6000F is an infrared optical detector for flat hot rolled products for the
measurement of the offset of the material from the center-line. Placed
above the rolling line, so as to observe the rolled product proceeding along
the roller table, these sensors provide information both on the offset of the
material from the roller table center, and on the width of the rolled product.

Q-ROBOT Melt
Anthropomorphic robot for temperature sampling
and steel analysis in EAF’s
Robotic sampling system specifically designed for both Electric
Arc Furnaces and in Continuous Caster tundish applications.
The Q-Robot MELT is designed for automatic sampling of
temperature and chemical composition of a steel bath.
Q-ROBOT Cast
Robotic system for powder management in continuous casting processes
Q-Robot CAST takes over the laborious dosage and distribution of
casting powder in continuous casters for slab, bloom and billet.
The system applies a thin and uniform powder thickness over
the liquid meniscus in the mould and compensates for any nonuniform powder consumption, which results in a higher and more
constant product quality, thanks to an automatic vision system.
Q-ROBOT Zinc
Anthropomorphic robot for skimming and zinc dross removal
Based on an industrial 6-axis anthropomorphous robot with its own control
system and using a specially designed tool, Q-Robot ZINC continuously
skims the surface of the zinc bath to remove dross and place it in a
dross container, as performed by a human operator. Q-Robot Zinc can
be supervised by a PLC and integrated in a level 1 automation system.
