Elevator control on new levels: unlike conventional control systems Thyssen destination selection control DSC does not only register the desired travel direction when a call is entered, but also the floor destination desired by the passenger. Benefit: the control has “twice as much” information available as usual. Based on these data the control can select the elevator of the group which can best serve the respective call. Efficiency and Performance. Well-directed Transportation. Destination call 6 5 1 Elevator 1 2 Elevator 2 3 Effective transport control by advanced call management. Departure floor and landing destination are registered synchronously. s Up to 30 % increase in handling capacity. Resulting in considerable gain in time and productivity in office buildings. s User-friendly flat touch-screen terminals for call input. Use of most advanced TFT-technology ensures excellent viewing quality from every viewing angle. s Graphic user guidance ensures easy operation and high degree of acceptance. s Stand-alone column, flush wall mounted system or touch-key box on the wall with various front panel options. Integration into architectural requirements are possible. s Assignment of lift immediately after call input. No additional car commands required. The number of intermediate stops as well as empty trips are reduced considerably; increase in elevator availability and service capacity by up to 30 % compared to conventional elevator groups. Considerable increase in comfort and handling capacity: enter your call at advanced flat touchscreen terminals in the elevator lobby of each floor. Right after entering a call the passenger is informed which elevator will bring him to his destination. No additional car commands inside the car are required. A clear graphic display ensures easy operation and leads to high acceptance by the users. s Retrofitting of all Thyssen TCM elevator controls possible. s High adaptability to customer requirements. Individual solutions for operating surface. s Continously growing program of special functions, such as operation by disabled, cleaners use etc. Individual special functions can easily be programmed and adapted to changing needs during “elevator life”. s Pre-connected function codes and identification systems such as card readers can be connected optionally. This ensures efficient prevention of misuse of special applications. s Identification codes for special floors. s Integration of building management information possible. Range of Functions and Operation: In 2 or Optionally 3 Steps. Destination selection control DSC for buildings up to approx. 10 floors. 2-step operation for every type of run mode. Normal operation. Terminal display for normal operation. Press touch-key of the desired floor (here 5, for example) and the elevator which can best serve the call will be calculated and assigned: Special functions. Special and transportation runs are only carried out after release of special, pre-set elevators: Information. Press information touch-key and on-line information on how to use the elevator appears: Please directly select your destination stop. Afterwards enter the assigned elevator. For special runs with elevator 4 or 5 please identify by holding your card close to card reader. In order to activate special functions please operate touch-key SF, afterwards enter the respective function code. A destination selection control from Thyssen Aufzüge This clear graphic display helps you to find “your” elevator very quickly. Dependent on the setting the picture is displayed only shortly or some seconds. Afterwards main menu page appears again. After check of identification the special function will be displayed. Choose either the desired floor or simply enter the elevator which can best serve the special command. Area selection Selection of destination stop Normal operation In higher buildings, first select the floor area of the destination stop. Afterwards enter destination stop. The elevator which can best serve this call is calculated and assigned. The destination selection control DSC for buildings above 10 floors. First select the building area. Thyssen Destination Selection Control DSC. Overview of a New Way of Controlling Elevator Controls. Thyssen destination selection control DSC is based on advanced microprocessor technology and decentralized data pre-processing. Use of CAN bus technology ensures reliable connection of all components. Thyssen destination selection control DSC with integrated remote diagnosis is designed for use with almost any drive system: from traction elevators without machine room up to high-speed elevators with external rotor gearless. Listed beside are performance features which can be realized with destination selection control DSC. Door-open-button Brake test switch Door-close-button Service hour meter Door protection systems, e.g. light curtain Trip counter Door re-opening (closing force limitation) External main switch incl. fuse (by customers) or protective motor switch (by customers) Repeated door closing in case of lock failure Arriving with opening door Nudging device (door-specific) Partly opening (door-specific) Car partition door Door re-opening caused by new destination call Selective open-through Overload (110 %) Disconnection control and light Occupied device (80 %) Re-levelling Misuse “destination call without passenger” Loadweighing Position indicator Flashing direction arrows on arrival Text announcing device Arrival gong Flashing direction arrows/hall lantern Priority Out-of-service indicator Protective motor switch at control cabinet or wall Alarm button with integrated emergency lighting Two-way intercom system Remote monitoring system Teleservice Emergency evacuation system (Emergenzamatic) Fireman’s function in case of fire Additional emergeny car lighting Special run Parking stop Automatic return Call control for priority car Automatic barring of stops Compulsory stop Changing main stop Key-operated call control Key-operated call control and disconnection Preferred call assignment to elevator with lowest load Collective fault message Continued group operation in case of failure of one elevator Temperature monitoring lifting motor Coding of stops Monitoring “installation blocked” Overlay system (for modernisation phase) Thyssen Aufzugswerke GmbH A Company of Thyssen Aufzüge Division P.O.
