“HAIL” TO THE GOOD
OLD DAYS AT FLYTE
SCHOOL
Unetta Hildabrant
The Alumni of Flyte School House met at the old school
building on July 14th at 6:30 p.m. to renew our memories
of our days in the old school.
The school is used every Monday night by the Boy Scouts
of America, Troop #102. The boys were very hospitable
to our group of 21. In fact, they welcomed us by writing
a sign on the old blackboard; it said “Welcome Alumni of
Flyte School”. We took pictures and reminisced about
our days in the old school.
We then went to Jim and Jean Haneys’ (our hostesses)
for cake and ice cream. Jim asked each of us to share
memories of our time at school. The one thing that
stood out was we made up our own games and used our
imaginations to make them, we had a good time doing
it. We shared good memories, funny memories and some
memories we should have forgotten.
We had a wonderful time and wish everyone could have
been there.
