Television Programming and Branded-Entertainment LP offers clients association and integration opportunities with one-of-a-kind “Latino excellence” platforms with “real meaning” to millions of Latinos nationally. From 2008-2009, LP’s CEO David Chavez stood alone as the only Latino to executive produce two prime-time television specials in both English and Spanish. The ALMA Awards presented by PepsiCo on the ABC Network TV Special honors the outstanding performances by Latinos in TV, Film, and Music and Tecate Premios Deportes an LP-created Univision Network TV Special honoring Latino athletes for excellence in their respective sports. LP created the TV special for the Tecate beer brand. In addition, LP leveraged its talent relationship expertise to CNN Latino in America TV special by securing Eva Longoria, George Lopez and Edward James Olmos for CNN Presents. LP also produced the Comedy Central/Showtime Alex Reymundo Comedy TV Special. Past LP credits include the NBC-aired Hispanic Heritage Awards from the Kennedy Center. Event Marketing Platforms LP created Viva Los Royals to increase Latino fan loyalty and attendance for Major League Baseball’s Kansas City Royals. The annual special event and game is a kick-off to National Hispanic Heritage Month and features Hispanic talent from the First Pitch to the National Anthem to pre-game concerts. LP has created the Mariachi Spectacular brand with renowned artists such as Vikki Carr and Jose Feliciano, as well as the Tejano Music National Convention, one of the largest Latin music events of its kind. These events have offered direct engagement to Latino consumers, from brands in retail banking, mortgage, auto, airlines, and membership growth. In 2010, LP produced the 30th Annual Tejano Music Awards in San Antonio, Texas. Building The Latino NonProfit and Political Brand LP’s client list boasts the most influential national Hispanic organizations in America. LP’s work ranges from enhancing the organization’s brand image and credibility by producing (fully or in-part) each respective national conference/convention, festival or gala. In addition, LP has created cause-related talent relationships, prodution of marketing identity videos and talent-endorsed PSA’s. National clients include: National Council of La Raza, League of United Latin American Citizens, National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials, Hispanic National Bar Association, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Society of Hispanic MBA’s, MANA a National Latina Organization, and Cesar E. LP was selected to produce two of the most prestigious Latino-themed, Washington, D.C. political events; the 2009 Latino Inaugural Gala and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Conference and Gala (CHCI). The Latino Inaugural was hosted by 32 influential Hispanic nonprofit organizations. More than 25 Latino celebrities participated including Jennifer Lopez, George Lopez, Alejandro Sanz, Paulina Rubio, David Archuleta, Shakira and the NFL’s Tony Gonzalez to name a few. LatinPointe is in its 4th year producing the CHCI Conference & Gala. The President and First Lady Michelle Obama have attended annually. Outreach and Communications LP has lead the Hispanic outreach effort for the United States Tennis Association through attendance by Latino celebrities and national and local leaders at the U.S. Open. In work for the American Diabetes Association (ADA), LP has created a Stop Diabetes One Million Reach Campaign; secured talent spokespeople; and trained local ADA events staff on enhancing their respective grassroots Feria De Salud events. LP books performing talent, honorees and produces plenary, luncheons, comedy event and the 4,000 attend black-tie gala. United Farm Workers Anniversary Celebration 50th LP is producing & promoting the UFW’s Anniversary year-long celebration including a national convention, Kris Kristofferson & Friends Concert Series, the creation of the UFW Awards and a major Farm Aid-type annual fundraising concert. 50th NHMC Latino MediaCon & Expo LP has created a signature annual event for the National Hispanic Media Coalition. MediaCon will convene media advocates, executives and talent to discuss trends and emerging issues in telecommunications and the Latino entertainment industry. The MediaCon Expo is a Hispanic consumer showcase of media properties, launches, programming and diversity initiatives. Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas LP is representing Taboo in the Hispanic market. As brand director, LP has secured his performance on the 2011 Latin Grammy;s. Taboo was honored at the 2012 Impact Awards for his advocacy work. LP’s work will consist of major performances, endorsements and cause-related community work. American Celebration in 2012 For the U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic, LP has created the “American Celebration” on the 4th of July. The concert/awards will feature some of the biggest Latino musical performances. 9th Annual Tejano Music National Convention in Las Vegas Now in its 9th year, the Tejano Music National Convention, created by LP, brings together thousands of Hispanic music fans annually in Las Vegas. The event features an Expo, Fanfare, and nightly major dances/concerts. LULAC National Convention in 2012 LP has annually produced the LULAC Convention including the creation of Voces Unidas concert. LP books talent, creates the promotional strategy for local participation. NCLR Conference Signature Concert Event LP has teamed up Walmart and Caesars Entertainment to create the signature special event during the 2012 NCLR Annual Conference. LP is creating a concert, VIP reception and a Red Carpet event. Democratic National Convention Major Hispanic Event LP is producing the major Hispanic event at the Democratic National Convention in September in Charlotte, NC. Cinco De Mayo on The Mall LP will produce the national Cinco de Mayo Festival on Saturday, May 5, to celebrate Latin American dance, music and crafts. Live performances will include a performance by Salsa icon Luis Enrique. Expo Americas LP is producing one of the largest consumer and business showcases.
