This 20 track compilation celebrates 30 years since the UK rockabilly revival. It contains many hard to find and long since deleted tracks, many
of which have never been released on CD. The opening track to this compilation ‘Spinning Rock Boogie’ by Hank C Burnette charted in the
mid 70’s and was Paul Burnette’s record of the week on BBC Radio 1. Many of these bands went on to have massive chart success including
Matchbox and The Jets. Here were showcase their early pre-fame singles. BBC Radio 2 just aired a 1 hour documentary on the subject of the
70’s UK Rockabilly revival and its listening figures were huge. Respected BBC Broadcaster Geoff Barker - who wrote that documentary, has

Best known as the writer of the apocalyptic ‘60s folk-rock standard “Morning Dew”, Canadian Bonnie Dobson became a mover on the Chicago
and New York folk revival scenes and released five albums in the acoustic folk style between 1960 and 1964. She returned to Toronto in 1965
and continued playing the coffee house circuit without recording any more albums. By the time ‘Morning Dew’ was being widely recorded by the
likes of Fred Neil & Vince Martin (the first to cover it), Tim Rose, The Grateful Dead, Lulu, The Jeff Beck Group and Episode Six in the late ‘60s
she’d upped sticks and moved to England, home of her songwriter heroes Jackson C Frank, Ralph McTell and Bert Jansch. Signing to RCA
Records, she cut a highly-orcestrated version of ‘Morning Dew’ at their suggestion for her self-titled 1969 ‘comeback’ album, along with strong
original material such as ‘I’m Your Woman’ and ‘I Got Stung’ and covers of hippy-era folk-rock reliables ‘Everybody’s Talkin’’, ‘Let’s Get Together’

This rare album was originally released, in Europe only, in 1980. The band was formed by Carl Palmer soon after Emerson, Lake & Palmer
stopped working together in 1979. For his first post-ELP project, Palmer recruited vocalist Todd Cochran (from Automatic Man) & blues guitarist

Although the group was short-lived (because Palmer went on to form the multi-platinum supergroup, Asia), PM made very energetic and powerful rock ‘n roll in its time together. This record has long been a collector’s item.

BLOOD OF KINGU was formed in 2005 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, arising out of the ashes of HATE FOREST. “De
Occulta Philosophia” is their first album under the present monicker. BLOOD OF KINGU is HATE FOREST’s
new incarnation, featuring the same members (who are also responsible for the stellar DRUDKH), but now with
an approach that is both more extreme and more elitist. “De Occulta Philosophia” sounds like a furious blend of
HATE FOREST’s “Purity” and “Sorrow”, except with ethnic instruments and inspired by Summerian and
Egyptian history and mythology.

Ett land som ble skapt idet NILS MARTIN LARSEN (ex Jaga jazzist) satte seg i studio en
høstdag i 2006. Et band som startet i et rom fullt av instrumenter og en hjerne full av toner.
Etter to år kan musikken beskrives som cinematisk rock, der mengder av gitarer flyr rundt
hodet ditt mens falsett-vokal slåss med treblåsere og synther. Musikken beveger seg fra de
største Mogwai-inspirerte lydvegger til de sarteste hvisk. Alt pakket inn i gode melodier og
massevis av dynamikk.Hovedtanken bak Lama er musikk som kan bevege deg til ryggraden.
Ekte, gjennomtenkt musikk av en kompromissløs artist.
På plata Guidebook to Lamaland er LAMA kun NILS MARTIN LARSEN.
En plate som vandrer fritt mellom genre, uttrykk og dynamiske ytterpunkter. Plata er produsert
og spilt inn av Nils Martin selv i tidsrommet mellom høsten 2006 og høsten 2007. Med unntak
av trommer og fioliner spiller han den unge multimusikeren alle instrumentene selv. Gitarer,
lapsteel, vokal, programmeringer, saxer og klarinetter, klokkespill og pumpeorgel er bare noen
av de fremtredende instrumentene på Guidebook to Lamaland. En ung musiker som allerede
blir sammenlignet med SIGUR RÒS, MEW og EFTERKLANG.

FANTASTIC NEW ALBUM OF BLASTING BLACK METAL FROM NORWAYS FINEST
THRONE OF KATARSIS was spawned in 2003 in Norway by the demonic visions of Grimnisse
and Vardalv. Their prophecy was and still is to craft purified and atmospheric occult Black Metal
in the true vein of the early 90-ties Norwegian Black Metal, and focused on spreading the unholy message through their blasphemous lyrics. Their line-up is simple, yet effective: Vardalv
play the drums and Grimnisse take care of the rest of the instruments. March 2004 the now
infamous demo recording entitled Unholy Holocaustwinds was unleashed upon the world. There
were initially only released 40 copies of the demo, but after massive unforeseen response and
requests the demo has been re-released on pro-printed MC and 10 LP by German Warfront
Production and on MiniCD by UK based Paradigms Recordings. Unholy Holocaustwinds was
recorded on a four-track cassette recorder, partly in the Liarlund Forrest. There was also recorded a second demo in mid 2004, entitled Blodslakt, but this demo was only handed out to a
few selected. Blodslakt was never officially released, bearing in mind a future full-length album
would contain the same material. Late 2004, accompanied by two talented session-musicians
on bass and guitar, THRONE OF KATARSIS did their first live performance at John Dee, Oslo,
Norway. Apart from a live gig at the Karmygeddon metal festival, THRONE OF KATARSIS
spent 2005 focusing on recording their debut full-length. The recording process took place at
Black Dimension Studio owned and operated by Stein Sund of Thundra. After being offered
a couple of record-proposals from different labels in 2006, THRONE OF KATARSIS finally
decided to settle on Candlelight.

Denne gangen har bandet tatt med seg en haug med gitarer og forsterkere til Bekkstudio på
Jæren. Ved stranden og med den store og høsttunge jærske himmelen som tilskuer har bandet
bodd og spilt inn det som er Skambankts hittil feteste album. Førstesingelen, Malin, ble sluppet til
radio og for digitalt salg allerede i oktober og har vært i rotasjon på P3 i hele syv uker allerede.
For å få full kontroll på denne utgivelsen, har bandet denne gangen både produsert og spilt inn
alt selv, mens mixen er gjort med hjelp fra bandets trofaste medspiller, Mike Hartung. Den nye
tilnærmingen har oppsiktsvekkende nok ført til en mer detaljert og raffinert produksjon, uten å
være i nærheten av å miste det intense trøkket bandet etter hvert har blitt så godt kjent for. Med
dette albumet ønsker Skambankt å bevise at de har kommet for å bli. Låtskriver, vokalist og
gitarist Terje W. Røthing forklarer:
”Vi har siden Eliksir-utgivelsen og påfølgende turnèring forstått at vi er et band folk har begynt å
ta på alvor. Vi har derfor også tatt denne utgivelsen mer seriøst en noen gang før. Det har vært
en påkjenning, men vi er fantastisk fornøyd med sluttresultatet”.
