Spring Fashion Trends at Eastview
After several long months of snow and cold, spring is just about here. If you’re
like most people who live in Upstate New York, you are desperate for warmer
temps and sunshine. You may also be desperate for some color in your closet after
wearing black, grey and brown all winter. Spring fashion is truly a breath of fresh
air this year filled with color, patterns and bold looks. Style experts from several
Eastview stores share the hottest trends for 2011 spring fashion.

Floral patterns are everywhere this spring! Don’t be afraid to wear color.
Turquoise, coral and yellow are helpful in brightening up your wardrobe.
Accenting outfits with thin, long, colorful scarves and bright, chunky jewelry is
very trendy. Don’t worry if your accessories don’t exactly match. Not matching is
ok and shows off your style and creativity. Belts, wide or skinny are an essential
for women. Belting also works really well with layering which is a continuing

Eastview say the trends are about adding splashes of color to neutral pallets like

guys this spring. Skinny and slim fit pants are selling like crazy. There are several
displays showing how certain outfits can go from work to play or from play to

pieces that can be mixed and matched.

An obvious trend at The Limited this spring is mixing strong colors together like
turquoise and red?! Take a look, it works!
The style experts at The Limited also say ruffles are a strong feminine trend this
season in addition to mixing fabrications; line with cotton sateen or stripes with
polka dots (there’s that “not matching” trend again). Short sleeve jackets are
selling too. It’s a sophisticated, sexy business look for spring and summer.
