The airport is also focus on having the best image possible. The
Lanzarote airport quality and environment certifications are:
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064, first mapping level
in airport carbon accreditation, 300+ accreditation in European
management excellence and Canary government accessibility
accreditation.

A Green Airport makes responsible use of natural resources, reducing energy consumption
and promoting the use of renewable energy. An airport whose impact on the environment is
minimal.
•
Aena has implemented the project 'Green Airport' at the Lanzarote airport, which will develop projects for the evaluation of
different technologies with the goal of minimizing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. At the same time, the airport is
trying to identify possible areas where use more efficient technologies. It will also assess the possibility of generating
renewable energy by installing solar panels and wind turbines or biomass plants using.
Yearly quality surveys for airlines and passengers are carried out in order to monitor their perception
of the airport services.
