ABOUT US
RubiTrux is located in beautiful Boone, North Carolina, about
two hours west of Greensboro. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville
Gorge and Cherokee National Forest are all close by. RubiTrux
has been known as the area’s Jeep and 4x4
authority for nearly two decades.
The RubiTrux name comes from the custom 2004-2006 Wrangler
Unlimited “truck” conversion, which we have been building for
over a decade. By incorporating AEV’s high quality Brute
half-top, along with a custom bulkhead, we created a vehicle
that captures the essence of the classic Jeep Scrambler. The
unique qualities of these conversions are what solidified our
reputation of building custom Wranglers.
We now specialize in Wrangler JK’s. Over the years we have
experimented with hundreds of different brands and
product combinations. Based upon our years of
experience, we believe that our current product offerings give
customers the best possible options for building the Jeep of
their dreams. Although every owner has their own definition of
what the perfect Wrangler would be, using our

Our Most Popular Package
The RubiTrux JK3500 starts with the legendary Jeep
Wrangler Rubicon. Off road performance and everyday
function meet classic Jeep styling in our most popular
build. It features a 3.5” lift and 35” tires, along with all of
the comforts and amenities you’ve come to expect from
a modern vehicle. Improving upon the off road prowess
and capabilities of the Wrangler, the
RubiTrux JK3500 is a formidable machine whether in
town, on the highway, or out on the trails.
Be it classic style or the latest design to hit the shelves,
the JK3500 can be fitted with a wide range of wheels
from AEV, Fuel, KMC XD Series, and American Racing
ATX. Wheel options for the JK3500 are unlimited!
The JK3500 comes equipped to tackle every
terrain. Mud terrain tires from Toyo, BFG, or Goodyear provide the best traction off road, while an
all-terrain tire couples daily driving and occasional
off road use with maximum tread life. Based on

JK 4500

The JK4500 Takes It to Another Level
The JK4500 takes the JK3500 up a notch or two. 4.5” of lift
and 37” tires make this Wrangler really stand out from the
crowd. At this level, there are additional upgrades that are
necessary and others that are highly suggested. All of the
upgrades from the JK3500 are carried over, but moving
up to bigger tires requires more power and/or re-gearing
to optimize performance. Likewise, it takes more to slow
it down; upgraded brakes should be
considered. Convenience options, like power steps,
are more of a requirement and less of a luxury on this
model.
Although we can build them bigger, 4.5” lift with 37” tires
is the largest we recommend for a daily driven Wrangler
JK.

JK-EXT
The JK-EXT packs even more utility into your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. We can convert any 2007-2015 Jeep
Wrangler Unlimited into a 4 door pickup truck! The kit was designed and built by Michigan Vehicle Solution’s talented team of engineers and technicians. Its unique design lengthens the frame behind the rear
axle to create the 40” x 43” bed. Our conversion also includes Line-X spray-in bedliner to protect the cargo
area and a custom bumper to accommodate the added length in the bed. From there, we can add any number of additional modifications such as: lighting, steps, bumpers, etc.

WARRIOR TRUCK CONVERSION
With the JK-8 conversion being discontinued, Dakota Customs designed a similar kit that kit turns a standard
4-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited into a 2-door pickup truck, resembling the classic Jeep Scrambler CJ-8.
Updated styling includes rear corner armor and countersunk round tail lights. Traditional styling and capabilities
are showcased in this conversion, where the 44” x 50” steel bed is ready to carry a variety of loads, and the design
of the Warrior Conversion fiberglass hardtop ensures ample room for storage space or to recline the seat.

DOUBLE CAB
The Brute Double Cab is the next evolution in pickup truck conversions for the Jeep Wrangler. The
introduction of the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited in 2007 allowed AEV to combine the functionality of the crew
cab pickup truck with the open air freedom and the off-road capabilities of the Jeep Wrangler. You can haul
cargo in the 61” x 60” truck bed even while comfortably seating five in the cab. Whether for work or play, the
Brute Double Cab has it covered!

BRUTE
The classic 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ is readily converted to an all-terrain pickup with this kit by AEV.
The original Brute conversion includes an all new hardtop with increased headroom and two small
skylights, plus a 61” x 60” 14ga. stamped steel bed that offers even more storage space. The Brute is
perfect for hauling loads or navigating off-camber situations on the trail.

RUBITRUX
Our RubiTrux start out as a 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Then we add a half cab
conversion top by using an AEV Brute top, custom bulkhead to separate the bed from the cab,
paint and Line-X bedliner. From there, this light duty truck can be left as is or customized with
lights, bumpers, winches, lift kits, and more.

Looking for an indestructible Jeep? You won’t have to worry about scratches or door dings when
we apply Line-X Xtra to the exterior of your Jeep! Line-X Xtra provides enhanced puncture and
abrasion resistance, for a durable finish. It has unrivaled U/V stability, so it will never fade, and it can
be color matched your existing paint color, or any other color you choose! If you prefer black, then
we use LINE-X Premium to coat the exterior of your Jeep. These coatings are sound dampening,
impact absorbing, and look great!

HEMI CONVERSIONS
There’s really nothing like the rumble and pure power of a HEMI V8 engine
conversion in a Jeep. We should know… we have done a LOT of them. If you come
to our shop, you can drive a couple of ours to see exactly how they drive in person.
Don’t trust your Jeep HEMI Conversion to just anyone, let the experts at RubiTrux do
it right. We normally use the standard AEV Hemi conversion kits, but we can also do
the conversion with a Dakota Customs kit with an upgraded exhaust system by Borla.
The Borla exhaust includes stainless steel long tube headers, high flow catalytic
converters, and a custom stainless steel cat-back exhaust that looks great and sounds
even better! Electronic exhaust cut-outs are also an option.
**Although the numbers below are the average hp numbers for these engines, we can build these engines to over 700 hp!**

conversion, a supercharger is an excellent choice. RubiTrux carries a variety of brands from

LIFT KITS
Over the years, we have installed or replaced just about every brand of lift available for the
Wrangler JK. In general, we have found that the on-road drivability of a lifted Jeep
determines the perceived quality and overall satisfaction of the lift kit. Most JK owners admit
that the purpose of the lift is to accommodate larger tires; not to increase
off-road capability. Because of this, we use AEV lift kits on most of our JK’s. We feel they are
the overall best choice for most of our customers. On the street, a Wrangler lifted with an AEV
DualSport kit actually handles better than stock!
On the other hand, we also work with many hard core JK owners. These are the guys that
aren’t afraid to beat up their new Wranglers and risk getting them stuck and breaking things.

WINCHES AND RECOVERY
At RubiTrux, we exclusively use Warn winches on all of our Jeep Wrangler builds due to the
quality, dependability, and ruggedness of these units. While our most popular winches are
the Zeon and Zeon Platinum Series winches, we carry everything from the VR Series to the
Powerplant with a built in air compressor! For added safety we recommend using a synthetic
winch line paired with a Factor 55 shackle mount for a true closed system winching setup.
ARB ON-BOARD AIR & ACCESSORIES
For longer excursions that offer
little to no civilation, we definitely
recommend making sure that you

LIGHTING
When it comes to lighting, there are numerous technologies and brands to choose from.
Because of their low current draw, cool operating temperatures, and longevity we normally
use LED lighting in our Jeep builds. For headlights, we use JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2 and
the Evolution J Series. They are DOT approved and deliver the brightest, most usable output
of any headlight we have tested.
For light bars and auxiliary lights, we generally use Baja Designs, Rigid Industries and the
ARB Intensity Series. If there are budget constraints, we also use Truck Lite, IPF, Hella,
Lifetime LED and a few other reputable brands.
If you are looking for the best in lighting, you tend to get what you pay for. If you simply

WIRING SOLUTIONS
When it comes to wiring lights and accessories, we found that the easiest solution is the
sPOD. With its factory appearance and styling that were designed just for Wranglers, its hard
to beat the simplicity! The sPOD systems come in a variety of options including a touch
screen, 6 and 8 switch systems and also can include Bluetooth, an air guage or battery
monitor.

No RubiTrux build is complete without our signature leather interiors. We utilize only the best
leather upholstery from Alea Leather, complete with custom logos and color matched stitching. Alea Leather offers genuine Italian leather with Verona being standard. For those who
want the ultimate in comfort we suggest upgrading to Nappa leather! Ride in comfort and

SOUND SYSTEM UPGRADES
At RubiTrux, we pride ourselves in using only top quality equipment in our custom Jeep
Wranglers. We offer several JL Audio packages using a StealthBox subwoofer matched with
JL component speakers and amplification. These systems can be integrated with the factory
radio or any aftermarket head unit and backup camera. For the ultimate experience, we offer
the Wrangler specific Alpine Restyle System with a nine inch touchscreen. The system not
only sounds incredible, but seamlessly integrates with your phone and on-board systems to
display information like speed, tire pressure and more. For a finishing touch, we use Second
Skin sound deadening to quiet down the Wrangler’s noisy interior.

HARD TOP INSULATION
Hothead Headliners has created this product to look and feel like it came straight from the
factory! This product will keep the heat and the cold inside of your Jeep allowing your AC
or heater to easily keep the temperature where you want it. With these headliners, road and
wind noise will go down 3 to 6 decibels. Also, insulating your top will improve the sound of
your stereo. This product installs quickly without having to remove your hardtop. If you want
to do all you can to reduce road and wind noise then we suggest using Sound Assassin sound
deadening thermal insulation material offered as an add-on with the kit!

BODY ARMOR AND PROTECTION
For those that want to take their Jeeps on hardcore trails and avoid any costly body damage,
