Doll Care Tips
SKIN Doll heads and limbs are made of the highest-quality vinyl.
Vinyl may discolor, soften or crack due to prolonged exposure in
the sun. Avoid leaving your doll in a sunny spot for long periods of
time. Most marks, smudges or dirt can be cleaned from the vinyl
with baby wipes. Marker or pen ink cannot be removed.
BODY Doll bodies are fabric and should not be immersed in
water. If the doll’s body becomes wet, remove doll’s clothing and
allow cloth body and vinyl to air dry.
EYES Your doll’s eyes are the best in the world, created to look
realistic, with eyelashes individually cut and fit to each eye. Such
high quality and lifelike features are not possible with doll eyes
that open and close. Protect the eyelashes from heat, pulling or
rubbing. Do not try to glue the eyelashes on yourself; our Doll
Hospital staff can professionally glue them on for a nominal fee.
HAIR
We use the finest-quality wigs
available. To style your doll’s hair, we suggest
using only our hair products. Because
children’s hair contains natural oils that
can damage the doll’s hair, do not use a
doll hairbrush for your child’s hair or a
child’s hairbrush for the doll’s hair. You
may use a hair pick on curly hair when
it is wet, and the hair will resume its
natural curl when it dries. Your doll’s
hair can be carefully washed using a baby
shampoo.
CLOTHING Our doll and girl clothing is unique and is designed
by our award-winning children’s clothing designers. Do not allow
wet clothing to remain on the doll, as the dyes used in the fabric
sometimes transfer onto the vinyl or cloth body.
Avoid immersing the doll’s face and body
in water. If necessary, the hair can be
dried with a blow dryer using the
dryer’s lowest setting. Anything hotter than the lowest setting will burn
the doll’s hair and eyelashes. Cover
the doll’s eyes when using a blow dryer,
as the eyelashes singe easily. Hair can be curled with a curling iron
on the lowest setting. Anything hotter will burn the doll’s hair.
ACCESSORIES We offer a wide range of the finest accessories to
add to your playtime enjoyment and imagination, from furniture
to jewelry and everything in between. We use the highest-quality
craftsmanship and material in every accessory.
REPAIRS Our dolls are made differently than any other doll in the
world. Specialists at the Doll Hospital are trained to care for your
doll. See the Doll Hospital Admissions section of this booklet if
repairs or changes are needed.
POSEABLE DOLLS Our poseable dolls are great fun.The unique
patented poseability system provides many different poses, but
rapid and repeated bending can cause or accentuate a squeaking
noise.

Heirloom Restoration service that restores your doll to
keepsake condition. For more information, see page 4.

Admissions, Services & Accessories
Our Doll Hospital is a very special place! Doll doctors are carefully trained to treat almost any problem your doll might have. We will take very
good care of your doll and make her stay as short as possible. She will usually be on her way home within three weeks after admission,
although sometimes holiday season stays can last a little longer. Many of the services available at our Doll Hospital are listed in this booklet.

ORDER DOLL HOSPITAL ACCESSORIES
STEP 1 Fill out the Doll Hospital Admissions Form on page 4 and
the Doll Hospital Profile Form on page 5. Place both forms inside
the box for return shipment.
To order Doll Hospital accessories, write the item name and number on
the bottom of the Admissions Form on page 4.
STEP 2 Undress and wrap your doll in plain white tissue. Secure
the doll in the box. Do not use newsprint or colored tissue.
STEP 3 Send your undressed, tissue-wrapped doll and any
photographs in the box (or any sturdy box) along with the Doll
Hospital Admissions Form and the Doll Hospital Profile Form.
Ship by UPS, FedEx or insured parcel post.
STEP 4 Be sure to include your order number (if available) and
complete name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

If we have any questions about your Doll Hospital forms, we will
contact you immediately. The Doll Hospital can accept doll
admissions through December 12th.

RETURN POLICY
Any product purchased between September 15th and
December 21st can be returned until January 31st. Products
purchased all other times of the year may be returned up to 45
days from the date of receipt of the product. After your
Doll order is placed, it is subject to a non refundable $40
customization fee upon review if returned. Return shipping
charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the return
is a result of our error. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of
custom orders, we are unable to change or cancel your order
after it is submitted. Vintage Collector Dolls are non-returnable
and non-refundable.

personalized doll is an artistic likeness, not an exact
replica. Changes and repairs not related to quality can
be made in the Doll Hospital for a modest charge.
Changes and repairs requiring charges include, but are
not limited to, hair style change, damage due to
accidental misuse, soiling and changes from the
original profile submitted. See the Doll Hospital
Services section on page 4 for a list of services and
