twinkling lights of our massaged tent, complete with

while learning about the true meaning of beauty.

Camp is designed to cover specific skills needed to
play softball on a more advanced level. Players will
receive individual and group instruction on hitting,
fielding, base running, and game strategies. Bring

Perfect as a Peach Art Camp

You can pick your own peaches at the local orchard
but in this class we are going to paint our own peach
still lifes! We will be studying the peach paintings by

Raising the Bar-Sweet Things Baking Camp

Come and bake a different kind of dessert bar each

using a scaled version. Students will make and decorate a small cardboard house to their own taste. They

Participants for both camp sessions will love the fun,
encouraging atmosphere while working on coordination, dance technique, and performance skills. Each
session will start with warm-up and technique and

routine for Dance Team Session and a musical theater

Yoga is noted for relieving stress in the body and
enhancing a sense of well being and health. This
class uses body postures, breath and awareness to
assist students in improving strength, flexibility, balance and focus. It is designed to acknowledge different levels of experience and capabilities. We will
practice individual poses and combine them in a flow
of movement that connects body, mind and spirit.

HILL COUNTRY KARATE
The Hill Country Karate program teaches American
karate in a positive, professional manner. Utilizing
martial arts training, the primary focus of the junior
program is to develop each student's confidence, discipline and respect for others. Children are taught
that having a "good attitude" at all times is the most
important aspect of their training. In addition, students are taught that karate skills are for art, sport
and self-defense, ONLY! Inappropriate use of karate skills is strictly prohibited.

BASIC DOG OBEDIENCE

Does your dog have you running in circles? Are you
wondering who’s in charge? This is the class you’ve
been looking for! Dogs will be taught basic manners,
obedience and the owners will be taught to be pack
leaders! Owners and their dogs will form a bond
through leadership and positive reinforcement. Dogs
must be at least 3 months old, on a lead collar and
have a 6 foot leash. Please bring proof of up to date
vaccinations to the first class.

MAH-JONGG
This game is so much fun it is addictive! Discover this ancient Chinese
game that resembles gin rummy but
uses colorful tiles instead of cards. The
game is easy to learn but requires skill,
strategy and calculation to excel. Get
out of the house and stretch your brain! Beginning
through intermediate mah-jongg players are invited
to join us for instruction, practice and companionship! Instruction will be in the American version of
the game using National Mah-Jongg League rules.

FISD COMMUNITY ED SUMMER CAMPS REGISTRATION FEE POLICY:
LATE REGISTRATION - including the day a camp starts WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $10 PER CAMP.
Registration fees can be refunded less a $10.00 processing fee, per person, per camp,
when canceled 72 hours before a camp begins.
No refunds will be given after a camp has begun.
Fees cannot be prorated for late enrollment or missed classes/sessions.
