Lobby Flat Screens Available
Although patrons make every effort to be on time for events out of respect for
the performers and other theatregoers, sometimes traffic or weather problems
intervene and late arrivals occur. Patrons may view the beginning of a show
on the flat screens in the PPAC lobby - this will enable latecomers to watch the
show until the theatre is re-opened to allow them into the show.
Just a reminder that touring companies set the policy for allowing those who arrive past curtain time in
to the theatre; PPAC must ask those patrons to wait until the approved time to re-open the doors. If at
all possible, please plan ahead to arrive early and relax before the show begins. Thank you!
Collections continue through
Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific, December 7-12.

Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus’ MAMMA MIA!,
the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA,
returns to PPAC just in time for the holiday season!
Donna, an independent, single mother who owns a
small hotel on an idyllic Greek island, is about to let
go of Sophie, the spirited daughter she’s raised alone. For Sophie’s wedding, Donna has invited
her two lifelong best girlfriends—practical and no-nonsense Rosie and wealthy, multi-divorcée
Tanya - from her one-time backing band, Donna and the Dynamos. But Sophie has secretly
invited three guests of her own.
On a quest to find the identity of her father to walk her down the aisle, she brings back three
men from Donna’s past to the Mediterranean paradise they visited 20 years earlier. Over 24
chaotic hours, new love will bloom and old romances will be rekindled on this lush island full
of possibilities.

The seventh
season of NBC's
Emmy-nominated
competition
series "Last
Comic Standing"
– hosted by Craig
Robinson (NBC's
"The Office") aired this summer on NBC. As with previous
seasons, talent scouts in Los Angeles and
New York watched performances from
aspiring and professional comedians to find
the contestants. Each week America voted
for the funniest comics until there was one
left. The live tour features the five finalists:
winner Felipe Esparza along with Tommy
Johnagin, Roy Wood, Jr., Myq Kaplan, and
Mike DeStefano.
Please note that Craig Robinson will not
appear at the VMA.
Tickets are $36.

Bethenny Frankel
Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 8P

author and star of “The Real
Housewives of New York” and
“Bethenny Getting Married?” for an
evening of sass and fabulous fun.

first came to national attention
due to the success of her
appearances on multiple television
shows, including “Bethenny Getting Married?” which
premiered in June with the highest ratings in Bravo
TV history. Her knowledge and passion for healthy
living has led her to regular columns in Health
Magazine and OK! Magazine, along with authoring
best-selling books such as Naturally Thin and The
Skinnygirl Dish. She’s a sought-after guest on
national news and entertainment television, where
she brings her expertise and irresistibly candid and
funny take on life.

of VIP tickets are available for $75 and include a

IN THE HEIGHTS tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington
Heights neighborhood. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and
pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you,
and which ones you leave behind.

Set on a tropical island during World War II, the musical tells the sweeping romantic story of two
couples – U.S. Navy nurse Nellie Forbush and French plantation owner Emile de Becque and Navy
Airman Joe Cable and a young local native girl Liat – and how their happiness is threatened by
the realities of war and by their own prejudices. Considered by many to be the finest musical ever
written, the score’s songs include such classics as “Some Enchanted Evening,” “I’m Gonna Wash That
Man Right Outa My Hair,” “Younger Than Springtime,” “Bali Ha’i,” “There is Nothin’ Like A Dame,”
“This Nearly Was Mine” and “A Wonderful Guy.”
Sponsored by
The New York Times called IN THE HEIGHTS “an
exuberant, animated shrine to the importance of family
ties and being faithful to where you come from” and
TIME Magazine said, “IN THE HEIGHTS represents
change on Broadway. It’s contemporary, heartful and full of hope.”
