The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) maintains a commitment to providing information to Aboriginal, Francophone, rural, and remote youth about health careers. NOSM strives to help youth reach their potential. Selected applicants will be required to submit a nonrefundable registration fee of $250 by June 19, 2015 in order to reserve their spot at camp. Contact Us Lunches and snacks will be provided during the camp. Selected participants are responsible for their accommodation for the week and transportation to and from the camp. The Health Sciences Summer Camp provides Northern Ontario students going into grade 10 and 11 (14-16 years of age) in September 2015 with an opportunity to explore Aboriginal culture, health and traditions, and Francophone culture, health and tradition, investigate health-care careers, obtain hands-on experience, and find a mentor.
