For the Week of March 17th through March 20th, 2015 Help Us Recognize Unsung Heroes in DeSoto Do you know someone who has done something worthy of recognition? Corporal Nick Bristow with the DeSoto Police Department would like to hear from you. You may recognize Cpl. Nick, pictured here, as the officer providing traffic reports on WFAA on weekday mornings. Now, in addition to his duties as Public Information Officer for DeSoto PD, he is putting his TV skills to work launching a new segment on DeSoto Cable TV called DeSoto’s Unsung Heroes. “The story of DeSoto Officer Shepherd, with her was picked up by the national there are people in our things every day,” said Bristow. Westmoreland This event is for DeSoto residents only, proof of residency is required. Only residential household hazardous waste will be accepted, commercial waste or electronics are not allowed. Due to limited space, those who would like to participate must register prior to the event.
