In the chapter, the committee chairs should meet to discuss what they would like for the chapter to undertake for the upcoming year. During the meeting they should select two or three areas of art that they will focus on for the sorority year. The chairs should then meet with the chapter president to discuss their plans for the chapter; and the president's vision, so that they will have an approved plan to present to the chapter. The chairs ought to have some flexibility in their calendar to allow for national arts and letters initiatives that may be recommended at any time, with the expectation of the chapter to participate in the cause. The chapter president and the Arts and Letters chairs should always be mindful of the national arts and letters initiatives during their planning.
