Function And Beauty
You can have a smile that does it all
Anyone with short, worn teeth or those that are chipped and broken
throughout the mouth would be an excellent candidate for Full Mouth
Rehabilitation, which corrects imperfections in bite position and enhances the
appearance of the smile. Combining the science of Neuromuscular Dentistry with
the artistry of Cosmetic Dentistry, Full Mouth Rehabilitation creates a smile that is
functional, comfortable, and beautiful.
Here’s How It’s Done:
Neuromuscular Dentistry measures and determines the optimal position of the
jaw. Using advanced technology, the dentist measures the jaw’s muscle function
in both stressed and relaxed positions by running computerized scans. If an
imbalance is determined, the dentist will decide whether to treat
with an orthotic appliance, or to fit the patient with dental
restorations.
After the orthotic has been worn for several weeks to
several months, the jaw naturally drops into its most
comfortable position. Only then can the doctor begin
to restore the bite. He will use beautiful, durable
porcelain restorations that can raise or lower the
bite to achieve the most comfortable jaw position.
With this correction, patients experience decreased
or eliminated pain and discomfort, and better
overall health.
A smile is meant to be
functional, comfortable,
and beautiful. Using Full
Mouth Rehabilitation,
we can make your
smile all that … and
much more.
Wishing you happiness, health
and success,

Great Smile Anatomy
Delivering your personal smile power!
A simple fact: the effect of a sparkling, confident smile on personal,
social, and business relationships has been proven to be crucial. As
one New York psychologist puts it, “A warm, open, attractive smile...
translates into a potent punch of personal power.”
But many of us worry that our teeth are discolored. We are selfconscious about a small chip in a front tooth. We are concerned
about old, unsightly fillings. Age will produce darker teeth,
receding gums, or even Periodontal problems.
Luckily, dentistry has made huge strides in the last twenty
years, and we now have many different procedures to help
your smile become a healthy, confident, dazzling part of your
personality.
Supervised tooth whitening is an easy and affordable way
to brighten teeth discolored from food, nicotine stains, root canal
treatments, or ageing.
Severely stained or chipped teeth may require veneers, ultrathin custom-sculpted pieces of tooth-colored porcelain that cover
the front of your teeth.
For teeth that have undergone root canal treatments, or
that are misaligned or weak, crowns combine good looks
and great strength. They entirely cover the tooth and
provide structural support.
Worn down, chipped, cracked, or widely spaced
teeth can be repaired through veneers or bonding.
The result looks and feels totally natural.
Dr. Green takes a neuromuscular approach
to all procedures, ensuring the outcome is both
beautiful and long lasting. Give us a call and
schedule your free consultation today!
Assessing muscles, joints, and teeth
Neuromuscular
Dentures
Dentistry is a profession that successfully merges art and science to create and maintain beautiful and
functional patient smiles. But there is more to a smile than just teeth. Your muscles, joints, and teeth all have
their own optimal position that helps create a comfortable, strain-free relationship. So when your bite is not
correctly aligned, it can lead to abnormal tension in the delicate facial muscles, which can easily cause chronic
pain. Neuromuscular Dentistry takes all these aspects into account to ensure optimal patient care, and should
also be considered when creating dentures.
In the past, dentists would rely on their knowledge and experience to create dentures for patients without
any other teeth to use as a reference. While mostly effective, this was not the best method as it frequently led to
function issues, pain, discomfort, and/or an unnatural appearance.
Over the past forty years, Neuromuscular Dentistry has been changing the way that we do dentures. Now,
using computerized equipment, we can measure and study your current jaw position, jaw muscle function, and
determine where your jaw should be, for optimal alignment. We will then use this analysis to carefully design
your unique Neuromuscular Dentures, which will keep your jaw in optimal alignment, while fitting comfortably,
functioning they way they should, and looking great.
Combining art and science, Neuromuscular Dentures can provide you with a beautiful, comfortable, and
fully functional smile.

SomnoDent® MAS
Do you suffer from excessive daytime sleepiness? Does your partner
complain you snore loudly? Do you find yourself constantly fatigued? If these
symptoms are present in your life, you may be suffering from a condition know
as Obstructive Sleep Apnea, or OSA.
OSA is a serious medical condition that is often under-diagnosed and causes
declines in one’s quality of life. In the past, many who suffered from OSA were
required to sleep with an oxygen machine to force air into their bodies while they
slept. These machines limited sleeping positions and were noisy.
Today, advances in the study of OSA have led to a revolutionary new dental
appliance called SomnoDent® MAS! This new technology is easy and comfortable
to wear while you sleep, so you can get the rest your body needs to be ready and
energized the next morning. Best of all, it allows you to speak, yawn, and drink,
does not make any noise, and won’t restrict your sleeping positions.
With over 90% of users experiencing a substantial improvement in their quality
of sleep, SomnoDent MAS has proven to be extremely effective for those who
suffer from OSA.
The advantages of the SomnoDent MAS include:
n Travels well
n No restrictive attachments
n Doesn’t make noise
n Ability to speak and drink while using
n Does not limit sleep positions
As sleep specialists, we help many who suffer from OSA through the use of the
SomnoDent MAS system. If you feel you may be suffering from Obstructive Sleep
Apnea, please give us a call to set up a free consultation and regain your quality of
life with strength and energy.

Perhaps there is no
other healthcare profession
like dentistry that has the
unfortunate (and false)
reputation of wanting to cause
pain rather than prevent it. For
all the good that dentists do to
improve our well being, there
are many patients with fears
about sitting in the dentist’s
chair.
Perhaps it has something to
do with not liking sharp metal
objects put into your mouth, or
a distaste for fluoride, no matter
how strongly the hygienist
insists it is “cherry flavored”.
But whatever the reason, there
are many people (young an old),
who have dental anxiety.
For your teeth’s sake, there
are ways to combat dental
anxiety, a condition sure to
cause cavities. If positive
reinforcement, learning to
control fear and other behavior
management techniques don’t
do the trick, dental sedation
could ease your mind and allow
you to get your teeth cleaned.
Sedation can occur through
inhalation (nitrous oxide aka
laughing gas), intravenously
or orally through a pill or
liquid. All of these are safe
and can address most forms
of dental anxiety by allowing
you to get dental work done
and simultaneously relieving
the anxiety you feel inside.
Usually these forms of sedation
do not relieve pain, so a local
anesthetic is still needed. They
do however relieve stress and
allow you to have a healthy
smile without all of the worry.

The CEREC technology allows
you to get a crown in just one visit.
(Traditional crowns typically require 2
visits, a temporary crown, impressions
sent to a dental lab, and up to a two
week delay for the new crown).
After two decades of clinical
research, CEREC is a proven
technology.
With CEREC, ceramic restorations
are made without metal (made of
porcelain and are metal free), not
abrasive, very resistant to plaque, and
easily accepted by your body.
