Welcome to eTeacher on mxweb!
This guide is intended to introduce you to eTeacher on mxweb and help you become
familiar with the tools and options you now have available to you to help you complete your
reports. eTeacher on mxweb has many exciting advantages over other traditional report card
management systems. Here are some of the exciting things that you can look forward to:
1. Work from anywhere! If you have access to the internet and a web browser, you
have all you need to get working on your reports. Your student information, marks and comment libraries are available to you 24 hours a day from both work and at home. You no longer
need to worry about moving files or keeping things on disk. Mxweb does it for you.
2. Collaborate! You are working as part of a network. Share your comment libraries
with any staff member you like or borrow someone’s existing comment library and save yourself some time. Work together with your school to produce a master comment library and everyone can have access to it.
3. Real time! View your student’s term marks as they are entered in the system school
wide to better determine how they are doing overall each term or semester.
4. Flagging! Flag students and apply comments to them automatically according to
grade.
5. Preview! Call up a .pdf preview of your student’s report card at any time to see exactly how the final report will look like on printing.
6. Line counter! You no longer have to guess how much room you have left to write
your student comments. Mxweb does it all for you by providing a handy line counter that accurately displays the amount of room you have left in your subject's comment box.

The comment builder tool can be used to create a personal bank of comments that you can
apply to your report cards. Comment library’s are attached to your personal account and can be

Comments can be organized within folders and arranged within a hierarchy. You can
create folders within folders allowing you to organize your library by grade, class or strand. Comments and folders can also be “cut” and “pasted” allowing you to rearrange your library as you
