Over 60 years of history
For more than a decade, Oliveri stainless steel sinks have set the standard in
Australia for style and functionality that others have since strived to follow.
The Oliveri Story
The company began life as a domestic metal
fabricator in Adelaide, South Australia in1948. A
move to sink manufacturing saw them pioneer the
deep drawing process in Australia. Over the years
as the business grew, Oliveri Australia’s only sink
manufacturer, introduced precision technology to
their stainless steel sink manufacturing process
with the installation of some of the World’s most
sophisticated processing equipment.
Their manufacturing process where the rim &
basins are pressed separately, then welded together
ensures that the basins are deep, straight sided
and have maximum capacity. The personal touch
is retained with final inspection and packing
conducted by experienced quality control staff.
The quality style and superior design of Oliveri
sinks is now enjoyed by home owners around the
World as the brand has become established in
many overseas markets including the USA where a
Oliveri sales and warehousing operation has been
in operation for more than a decade. Oliveri’s
exposure to World markets ensures that product
design and functionality is at the forefront so as
to be able to compete on the World stage.

designed and manufactured product that is a disappointment for your requirements.

Laminate Counter Tops
The traditional high pressure laminated counter
top requires a topmount style sink. Installation of
the sink is via a cut out of the counter top which
is slightly smaller than the sink. The sink is inserted
into the cut out then secured by clips supplied with
your Oliveri sink. Sealing tape that fixes to the
under side of the sink ensures that moisture from the
counter top can not enter the cut out. All Oliveri
drain board, topmount sinks have been designed so
that the drain board is of such a depth that it can be
installed over the dishwasher.

Solid Surface Counter Tops
Solid Surface counter tops such as Granite,
Composite, Timber and such use the undermount
method of sink installation so as to achieve a clean,
sharp line appearance. Oliveri has a vast range
of sinks that have been designed for undermount
installation to suit normal width and narrower
counter tops.

Softtone® and Sound Proofing
It’s the little details that make all the difference.
All Oliveri sinks are supplied standard with sound
deadening pads to enhance sound proofing when
filling the basins with water, and most models are
also sprayed with Softtone® material to increase
heat retention. These finer details show Oliveri’s
focus on producing and sourcing only the highest
quality products.

Counter Top Space
There is always demand for extra counter top space
in compact kitchens and solid surface undermount
installations which use basin only sinks. To extend
the counter top space Oliveri has developed a range
of Stainless Steel Utility Trays that fit snuggly into
the basin. This tray is not only practical it is also user
friendly in that the stainless steel is encapsulated
with a safe plastic rim which also prevents it
scratching the rim of the sink.

Cabinet Space
The internal space of the sink cabinet will be a
major factor in what size sink is suitable for your
requirements. Oliveri sinks are available in various
styles, sizes and basin configurations so as to suit
the various size sink cabinets used in modern
kitchen design. The noted cabinet size is the outside
dimension of the cabinet and assumes an interior
deduction of 1 1/4” for side wall thickness. Specified
cabinet sizings for each sink models can be found
on pages 30 – 31 of this brochure.

Basin Size
The deep drawing process that is used in the
manufacture of Oliveri sinks ensures that the
basin capacity is maximised from the rim to the
outlet. There is an Oliveri sink with basin capacity
to suit all requirements with most being able to
accommodate the largest of kitchen pots, pans,
woks or cookie trays and other items that do not
fit into dishwashers.

Sink Material
The majority of the Oliveri sink range is made from
Stainless Steel which has for many years been the first
choice of sink manufacturers worldwide because it is
hygienic, easy to keep clean & has an attractive metal
finish that suits any decor. The smooth non–porous
surface is resistant to deterioration from heat, stains
& UV light. Oliveri sinks are made from the highest
quality 18/10 – 304 grade stainless steel. 18/10
means that Oliveri sinks are made from stainless steel
containing 18% Chromium and 10% nickel. The
chromium in stainless steel teams up with oxygen in
the air to form a strong, highly protective chrome oxide
film. It is this film that makes stainless steel resistant
to corrosion and gives remarkable long life. The nickel
is the substance that gives stainless steel strength and
lustre. Most materials will scratch, including stainless
steel. The best prevention is to exercise a little extra
care, or even to use on of Oliveri’s accessory baskets
or basin protectors. The finish will show wear, but over
time with the net effect of this ‘scratching’ becomes
uniform and blends together.
Waste Outlets
Basket type waste outlets have been proven to be the
most suitable and environment friendly for kitchen
sinks as they are designed to capture any residue that
may have collected in the basin. Oliveri sinks are
supplied standard with one basket type waste outlet
for the main basin, and in many instances they are
located to the rear of the basin so as to locate pipe
work to the back and increase usable cabinet space.

Custom made Accessories
Custom designed accessories convert the sink into a
hygienic food preparation area. The Oliveri range of
accessories includes Solid Timber & Synthetic Cutting
Boards, dishwasher friendly Colanders, Crockery
Baskets, Basin Protectors & Stainless Steel Utility Trays
that can be accommodated in the accessory lip that
is a design feature of Oliveri sinks. Many of these
accessories are supplied as standard in Oliveri sinks.

Country of Origin
Many sink manufacturers will proudly list their heritage
in their promotional literature, this does not mean
their products are in part or all manufactured in
these countries. If country of origin is a factor in sink
selection ensure that you establish where the particular
sink you are considering is made. Only Oliveri can lay
claim to being Australia’s only sink manufacturer.

need to do if you require service:
First: Contact the kitchen dealer or
contractor who sold and/or installed
the product. They should be able to
solve any problems you may have.
Second: If your dealer or contractor
can not solve the problem, they will
contact or supply you with the name of
the Tasman Sinkware distributor/agent
who supplied the product and the name
of their Oliveri technical specialist.
Third: If you are unable to obtain warranty
service through either your contractor or the
Tasman Sinkware distributor/agent, please
write to Tasman Sinkware US Office.
Fourth: Include all pertinent information
regarding your claim, including a complete
description of the product, model numbers,
and date the product was installed. Most
of this information is on the identification
label located on the underside of the
basin. Also provide us the name of the
installing contractor and distributor.
Warranty
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself
with the Tasman Sinkware North America
Warranty, its benefits, and limitations.
1 All Oliveri sinks carry Tasman Sinkware’s
Lifetime Limited Buyer Warranty.
2 Oliveri sinks are warranted free
of manufacturing defects.
3 Tasman Sinkware shall at its election, repair,
replace, or make appropriate adjustment
where Tasman Sinkware inspection discloses
any such defects occurring in normal usage.
Tasman Sinkware is not responsible for
installation costs, or consequential damages.
4 The warranty does not cover product
failure caused by abusive treatment, surface
scratches, misuse, or damage due to handling
or faulty installations. This warranty is
extended only to the original consumer
purchaser of the product and excludes
accessories and attachment products.
