Welcome to
Over 100 years ago, Buffalo Bill Cody founded a western frontier town that still bears his name. It’s also still home
to that famous western charm and buckaroo spirit that his settlement was built on. Every year, thousands of visitors
come to celebrate the wild history and old-fashioned outdoor adventure that abounds in Cody, Wyoming. Here it’s
about the wild west, wildlife, and wild experiences — and it’s waiting for you to enjoy it all.
YELLOWSTONECOUNTRY.ORG
Welcome to the 2016 RMI Roundup
On behalf of RMI and Buffalo Bill’s Cody Yellowstone Country, I am pleased to extend you a warm welcome to the Real America.
Throughout your week in Cody, Wyoming, you will experience authentic western hospitality amid breathtaking outdoor recreation and scenery. The
week begins with a FAM tour of Cody area attractions followed by two productive days of networking and meetings throughout the RMI Roundup.
The Roundup is an exclusive event that will provide you an opportunity to enhance your knowledge and product base in the states of Montana,
North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming – collectively known as the Real America. In its 22nd year, the event brings over 150 tourism professionals from across the Rocky Mountain region together. You will have a chance to meet with regional suppliers ranging from ranch product and specific
hotel properties to activity suppliers and Inbound Tour Operators.
Roundup is an event where profitable, long-lasting relationships are made. Thank you for your participation in this important event and your continued commitment to selling the best of America to the world.

Mad River Boat Trips is a river outfitter in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, offering
whitewater river trips and scenic floats daily during the summer since 1977.
Early in the nineteenth century, a group of trapper explorers were the first
to investigate the stretch of the Snake River below Jackson Hole. Deciding
at the time that it was far too treacherous to boat, they called it “The
Mad River”. The boats may have changed over the years, but here at Mad
River, the passion for adventure remains the same. Come in early spring
and experience an adrenaline rush in the peak flows of the river, come in
midsummer and enjoy the refreshingly cool waters on a hot summer day
or come in the fall and see the Snake River Canyon come alive in the reds,
oranges and yellows of season.

With 94 million acres and less than a million residents, Montana gives new
meaning to the phrase “wide, open spaces.” From the soaring peaks of
the Rocky Mountains to the alpine lakes and meadows of Glacier National
Park, America’s fourth-largest state offers endless opportunities to explore
the stunning scenery, awe-inspiring wildlife and rich cultural heritage. That
spirit of adventure is alive and well in today’s Montana, a state that remains largely unchanged more than 200 years after Lewis and Clark’s Corps
of Discovery first explored its sparkling rivers, towering peaks and pristine
landscape. So much of Montana remains unspoiled, in fact, that the state –
known as “Big Sky Country” – still is home to more wildlife than people!

Wyoming is home to three national treasures,
Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, and Devils Tower National Monument. All three are known worldwide for their iconic photos and diverse
landscapes. Yellowstone’s 10,000 thermal features release steam plumes
skyward, waterfalls spill into high-rimmed canyons, and mineral terraces
slowly re-design the terrain. In Grand Teton, directly south of Yellowstone,
the sharp peaks of the Teton Mountains rise high into the sky, more than
7,000 feet above the valley known as Jackson Hole, creating a majestic
backdrop to the town of Jackson. Both parks are home to bison, elk, wolves,
grizzly and black bears, and coyotes. Devils Tower, the first national monument stands over 386 meters tall and is located in north-eastern Wyoming.
