Debden House Debden House Centre is the London Borough of Newham's dedicated Conference, Education and Camping Centre which offers: Conference facilities Fees & Charges Tuition fees are listed beside each course. The fee is normally payable before or at the start of your course. Fee concessions may be available if you are in receipt of benefits including state pension (or are a dependant of someone who is) or are aged under 19. You will be required to bring proof of your entitlement to free or reduced tuition (e.g. benefit book) when you enrol. A large range of classes are available for all levels: classes for complete beginners who need help getting started in reading and writing through to classes for confident speakers. To help you get a job, we offer basic learning Units in English & Maths and you can progress on to Functional Skills. All our courses include citizenship and employability. If you have ever wanted to write a poem, play, novel or short story, or wanted help to develop your everyday skills, we also have fun, relaxed courses such as 'Writing for Fun' and ‘Reading for Pleasure’. Speaking and Listening exams are available at all levels starting at Entry 1 ESOL and Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing exams for both Level 1 and Level 2 ESOL.
