Mariemont Elementary School
Welcome to Mariemont Elementary School – Established September 9, 2012– From all of us who have the privilege of representing you on the Mariemont City Schools Board of Education, we are tremendously proud to join with you in the opening of this spectacular and innovative new educational facility. It is our official duty to memorialize a proper dedication and we are glad to know that the historical record will forever mark September 9, 2012, as the day that an entire community of parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends came together to celebrate such a remarkable achievement and a commitment to future generations of children. We are also grateful to everyone who has passed through our buildings and helped to grow our neighborhoods, especially those who have helped to make this achievement possible. This building will long stand as a lasting tribute to every one of you – the alumni and families who carry Warrior pride in their hearts; all former Board members; community officials, volunteers and staff, business partners and neighbors, living and working together for the common goal of producing the best possible educational experience for every one of our children. It is your commitment to this promise, your tireless contributions of time and talent and, frankly, your unmatched generosity that challenges and drives each one of us – Board members, volunteers, administrators, educators and staff – to constantly challenge the conventional method and to exceed your expectations. This moment is a shared experience that none of us will soon forget. As we catalogue fond memories of an older building and teaching methods, we can now begin making new memories and embrace the excitement of an education industry that is changing at digital light-speed. The building structure is changed, but the Warrior spirit will remain steadfast as we continue the mission of equipping today’s scholars as they grow into tomorrow’s leaders. Confident in that promise and with the grateful appreciation of an entire community, this building is dedicated to each and every one of you.
