to the industry, judging from the past history of the organizer, as well as the
quality of the exhibitors that are assembled here today’.
‘The growing importance of Hong Kong as the world sourcing hub for intimate
apparel, including swimwear, is manifested by the intensity of focus being
placed on this specific industry sector by the international trade fair bodies’.
Moreover, many other bodies have given contributions and supports to make this first event even more
complete, they include the French Knitwear and Lingerie Federations, China Knitting Industry Federation,
Italian Lingerie Export, China-Europe Textile Alliance, Hong Kong TDC.

3.Fashion Show and Cocktail – A talk of the town event
Over 400 VIPs guests including key directors from the industry, buyers, opinion leaders and the press
were invited to see the most stunning lingerie collections for the coming season.
The ‘Paris – Hong Kong. The Art of Luxury’ fashion-show was divided into 4 trends:
High Society: Luxury, classy lingerie adorned with extravagant haute-couture accessories such
as feathers and pearls. Black and white, soft colours, delightful details.
Shop until you drop: Modern, sexy and flirty lingerie inspired by the young who introduce a
new style in lingerie, made to be seen and to have fun with. Sweet pastels and punchy brights.
Hollywood cruise: Leisure elements crossover the classification boundaries between beach,
lingerie, home. A strong dose of glamour meets modern comfort. White, sporty grey, bright
beach colours.
Extreme Glamour: Lingerie as a festive accessory for very intimate moments but also
developments with divine garments created as complete cocktail outfits. Black and red remain
a must.
The sculptural model Rosemary had the pleasure to wear some prototypes from the Ultra Lingerie
Paris, special creations realised by Rosanna Ansaloni, Valery, Le Trousseau de Margaux and Ritratti.
The finale, with Rosemary wearing the Ultra Lingerie prototype from Ritratti (awarded designer of the
year in Paris), together with appearance of all the other models was definitely the most memorable and
breathless moment of the night.
4.International Lingerie and Conference Programme
In conjunction to the event, a day prior to the trade show, Eurovet joined forces with Hong Kong
Polytechnic University, Ace Style Institute of Intimate Apparel and Institute of textile and clothing
to organise the first International Lingerie Forum in Chiang Chen theatre.
The forum’s mission was to stimulate new thinking, industrial collaboration and professional education for
future development of the lingerie business. During this forward-thinking forum, renowned leaders of multinational lingerie organizations and academics have exchanged knowledge on Innovation, Education
and Environment.
During the exhibition, 5 conferences have been held, each attracting up to 200 people, with the
discussion on insight on the Lingerie trends, Attitudes of Asian women towards femininity, trends in retail
worldwide, information on Eco-Fibres, and Innovation.

5.Promising exhibitors figures
With a very short launching and few months of preparation and recruitment, the exhibitors participation
has already met the target with 105 Interfilière companies from 15 countries, 24 Private Lingerie Brands,
and 11 press and services, with a total of 140 exhibitors.
Within the PRIVATE LINGERIE AREA, the “Spicy Garden”, with Le Trousseau de Margaux and French
Cancan, promoted those two young designers, who bring new flair and creation to retailers looking for
hottest new creation and for fashion loving pioneers.
6.Success Start, Expectation for the Next Appointments
Eurovet believes that the lingerie industry needs to gather several times a year in a region. With the
successful launch of the Hong Kong Mode Lingerie in April, and the now well established Shanghai Mode
Lingerie in October, the whole Lingerie and Beachwear industry gathers in Asia twice a year to
meet the most highly specialised, selective and comprehensive sourcing platforms, together with top
international brands.
2 event in Asia, for which Eurovet carries the same ambition as for its 2 world leading appointments
in France: key moment of information, fashion, and networking.
