Cookie Dough Skor Bar Squares Method: Ingredients:
Cookie Dough Skor Bar Squares
Delicious Skor Bar Squares made by my dear friend Jenn are the
inspiration for the below recipe. This rich dessert is not only quick to
prepare but also gluten free if you use my gluten free cookie dough.
Ingredients:
1 package of Gwen's regular or gluten free
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
1-300ml can condensed milk
2 tablespoons margarine
1-300g-package milk chocolate chips
1-200g package Skor bits
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
2. Line the bottom and edges of a 13' X 9' glass pan with
foil. Spray with cooking spray.
3. Evenly press Gwen's Chocolate Chip Cookie dough onto the
bottom of the pan.
4. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool while preparing filling.
5.Filling: In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the condensed
milk and margarine. You will need to stir constantly for about 5
minutes until the milk thickens.
6. Pour the condensed milk over the base layer and return to oven
for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven.
7. Evenly sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the condensed milk
layer. Return to oven and bake for 2 more minutes or until the
chocolate is shiny and soft. Remove from oven and then spread
evenly.
8. Sprinkle Skor bits on top, pressing lightly into the chocolate.
9. Cool completely before cutting. Store at room temperature.
10. Store at room temperature or freeze for up to 3 months.
