Community College. Each year, we host a variety of cultural
opportunities from national touring acts to local resident companies,
jazz to classical to folk, opera to ballet to musical comedy. From month
to month and year to year, you never know who will be gracing our
stages – but you can be sure they will create an unforgettable evening.

WELCOME
Anything Goes! This classic musical is de-lightful, de-licious, and
absolutely de-lovely! The show’s frothy screwball plot set on a transAtlantic cruise ship was devised by P.G. Wodehouse and its Cole Porter
songs include “You’re the Top”, “I Get A Kick Out of You”, “De-lovely”
and “Let’s Misbehave”, among many others. Anything Goes is an
instant cure for the blahs, you’ll want to see it again and again!
In March, our nation’s most notorious assassins gather on stage to
violently pursue an American dream in Assassins. Bold, original,
disturbing, and alarmingly funny, Assassins is perhaps the most
controversial musical ever written. And in June, Harvard’s beloved
blonde takes the stage by pink storm in this fun, upbeat story of selfdiscovery in Legally Blonde the Musical. Equal parts hilarious and
heart-warming, this musical is so much fun it should be illegal!

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST
ALBERT J. BOEREN (Moonface Martin/Prop Master) previously appeared at Phoenix Festival
Theater in Sweet Charity and Annie. Other area productions include Hairspray (Mr. Pinky), Music
Man (Harold Hill), Sunset Blvd. (Sheldrake), Bye, Bye Birdie (Albert), 1940’s Radio Hour (Clifton),
12 Angry Men (Juror #2), Damn Yankees (Mr. Applegate), and Sound of Music (Capt. Von
Trapp). He has also directed many shows in the area, including The Odd Couple (both male and
female versions); Brighton Beach Memoirs; Barnum; Godspell; You’re A Good Man, Charlie
Brown; Don’t Drink the Water; Social Security; Bye, Bye Birdie; and an original play for the
Baltimore Playwrights Festival, Farewell Mona Lisa. He is working on several projects for next
year. Albert works for Care Med Transportation of Baltimore. He has been married for 31 years
to his beautiful wife Lisa (stage manager) and they have two wonderful children (Andrew and
Angela).
EMILY BROWN (Ensemble) is proud to join the musical theater stage after being a dancer for
most of her younger years. She recently made her musical theater debut with John Carroll's
Sound of Music. She has enjoyed leading roles in The Nutcracker and Swan Lake and has
performed, competed and taught across the world, including her favorite, Zimbabwe Africa. She is
currently a dance teacher at Dance With Me School of Dance while raising her four children.
Emily is incredibly grateful for the love and support of her husband and children so she can enjoy
her passion of performing.
KARAH CAMPBELL (Ensemble) has been doing musical theatre for eight years and is very
excited to be in her first Phoenix Festival Theater production. She also performs with
Theatreworks...Live!, The Milburn Stone Theatre, and John Carroll and dances at County Ballet
Studio. Karah will be a freshman at Bel Air High School. She would like to thank Becky Titelman
for firing her nine times.
AMANDA DICKSON (Bonnie/Choreographer) is ecstatic to back on the Phoenix Festival Theater
stage! Most recently, she appeared as Hope Langdon (Something's Afoot) with the Vagabond
Players, Alice/Dance Captain (Millie) at Cockpit in Court at CCBC Essex and Nicky Puppeteer/
Mrs T (Avenue Q) here at Phoenix Festival Theater. Favorite past roles include Tiger Lily (Peter
Pan), Anne Dindon (La Cage Aux Folles), Helena (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Kitty (The
Drowsy Chaperone), and Nellie (South Pacific). You may have also seen her choreography
in Peter Pan and Spamalot at Cockpit in Court, Ruthless at Dundalk Community Theatre,
and Avenue Q at Phoenix Festival Theater. Amanda teaches dance at Beth Tfiloh Dahan
Community School and is the Education Director/Choreographer at Children’s Playhouse of
Maryland.
GARY DIETER (Billy Crocker) is happy to be back treading the boards on the Phoenix Festival
Theater. You may remember him from his recent portrayal of Leo in The Producers. His other
credits with PFT include Huck in Big River and Rooster in Annie. Gary has just finished
performing the role of Patsy in Cockpit in Court's production of Spamalot. Other favorite roles
include Bobby in Crazy for You, George in George M!, Leaf in 25th Annual . . . Spelling Bee,
Donkey in Shrek, Wilbur in Hairspray, and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. Gary has received
the Distinguished Alumni Award from Towson University for his contributions to Dance Education
in the community. He has served on the faculty of Peabody, The Carver Center, The Ellicott City
Ballet Guild, The Visual and Performing Arts program of Frederick County, and his own school
GD Studio for the Performing Arts. He received a Helen Hayes Nomination for his portrayal of
Sparky in Toby's production of Forever Plaid. "Baltimore's Tap Dance Kid" is currently teaching
advanced tap classes at Upper Falls Dance Academy. When he's not tapping here on the
ground, Gary is light as air on a Southwest 737!
KILEY ERNEST (Ensemble) is making her PFT debut. As a member of the Bel Air Drama
Company, she has recently appeared onstage in The Little Mermaid (Ariel), Zombie Prom
(Toffee), Our Town (Emily Webb), and Mary Poppins (Katie Nanna). Other roles include High
School Musical (Gabriella Montez), Fame! (Serena Katz) and Godspell ("Bless the Lord") with
Get2Act Theatre Company. Special thanks to her supportive family and friends and to the
Anything Goes directors for this opportunity. Break legs cast and crew!
KEVIN FRANIAK (Reporter/Ensemble) is so excited to be in his first production with Phoenix
Festival Theater. Kevin is a freshman at Archbishop Curley High School. He has recently
performed with Just Off Broadway, Children’s Playhouse of Maryland, and The Archangel
Players. Kevin’s hobbies include painting, reading, singing and dancing. He would like to thank
Ms. Amanda Dickson (choreographer) for getting him interested in the show and helping him
along the way.
EVA GROVE (Mrs. Wadsworth R. Harcourt) is excited to be back on stage in a musical…
especially one as fun and fancy as Anything Goes! She began dancing and singing at the age of
six, and became involved in community theater in the Chicago-area by age nine. Her love of all
things theatrical continued into high school and college (The Music Man and Oklahoma!) worked
through local and regional dinner theaters (Hello Dolly!, Shenandoah, A Chorus Line) and ended
up with three National Tours (Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Can-Can, Singin’ In The Rain).
Eva returned to the stage last year in Cockpit in Court’s production of Don’t Drink The Water, in
which she was also Costume Coordinator. She is an Activity Assistant at Brightview, works at
the CCBC Essex box office, and is also the Dance Coach of the amazing TwirlTasTix Baton
Team. Eva is mother to three and wife to one and is adored by her 12-year old Italian
Greyhound named Guiseppe.
DAVE GUY (Elijah J. Whitney) returns to Phoenix Festival Theater after appearing a year ago as
Babcock in Mame and in 2014 as Mayor Shinn in The Music Man. In recent years here, he has
appeared as Scruggs in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, FDR in Annie, Victor in Barefoot in the
Park, ensemble in Once Upon a Mattress and Footloose, as Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors,
and as Ken Gorman in Rumors. In Sept 1978 he debuted on this stage as First Gangster in Cole
Porter’s Kiss Me Kate. A veteran character actor in the Baltimore area, favorite roles include
Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Amos Hart in Chicago, Pellinore in Camelot, Applegate in
Damn Yankees, George Hay in Moon Over Buffalo, Saunders in Lend Me a Tenor, Oscar
Madison in The Odd Couple, Herr Schultz in Cabaret, and Second Comic in Sugar Babies. Dave
retired almost a year ago as a Customer Service Rep for Crown Cork & Seal.
MICHELLE HOSIER (Ensemble) is so happy to be singing and dancing in her 5th production at
Phoenix Festival Theater, having also appeared here in Mame (Cousin Fan), The Producers
(Lick Me, Bite Me!), and ensemble roles in Bye Bye Birdie and Jesus Christ Superstar. Previous
roles include The Girl in The Fantastiks and Lady Gwendolin Fairfax in The Importance of Being
Earnest, both with Covered Bridge Theater, Felicity Crump in The Case of the Hopeless Diamond, and a tapping rat in Shrek, the Musical with Suburban Players. A former HCPS music
teacher, she is enjoying retirement as well as teaching private piano lessons and spending time
with family, especially her adorable grand-children! Thanks to James, Julie, Amanda and a
wonderful cast for another fun theater experience!
GINO LIBERTI (Bishop Henry T. Dobson/Ensemble) is excited to be in this production of
Anything Goes! He is returning to the Phoenix Festival Theater stage after being in recent
productions of Mame, Music Man, Hello Dolly and Once Upon a Mattress. You might have also
seen him in other area productions such as Joseph . . . Technicolor Dreamcoat, George M.!,
Once Upon a Mattress, How to Succeed in Business, and High Society with The Suburban
Players (St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church) and Cockpit in the Court (CCBC-Essex). Gino
enjoys sharing this stage with his lovely wife, Susan. Thank you, honey, for your advice, support
and love!!! While not on stage, Gino is a substitute teacher in the Harford County Public Schools
and a Tax Professional for HR Block.
SUSAN LIBERATI (Ensemble) has appeared in over 40 productions in the Baltimore area and in
Pennsylvania. Some roles she has enjoyed are M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Lady Thiang in The
King and I, Lizzie in The Rainmaker, Babe in The Pajama Game, Elizabeth in The Crucible, and
Ruth in Wonderful Town. You may remember Susan from her role of Mrs. Upson in PFT’s production of Mame last fall. Susan also enjoys “performing” as a math instructor at Harford Community College and teaching piano lessons in her home.
ELIZABETH MARION (Purity) is a 2002 graduate of Elon University, NC with a BFA in Music
Theater. Some of her favorite roles include Laurie in Oklahoma, Rosemary in How to Succeed in
Business ..., and Charity in Barnum. She was last seen here as Mrs. Brill in Mary Poppins.
Elizabeth is so excited to get to break out her tap shoes for this show and act like an angel for
once!
LAURA MAY (Chastity) is pleased to be sharing this stage once again with so many talented and
wonderful friends! Her passion for theater stems not only from her love of dance, but the
fulfillment of having such strong ties with the "family" surrounding her while performing. Her alltime favorite roles have been Anytime Annie in 42nd Street and Columbia in Rocky Horror, but
she has also been seen in performances of Spamalot; Mary Poppins; Wizard of Oz; Shrek;
Joseph . . . Technicolor Dreamcoat; Thoroughly Modern Millie; Rent; La Cage aux Folles;
Xanadu; Crazy for You; The Producers; 9 to 5; Beauty and the Beast; All Shook Up; Cabaret; Will
Roger’s Follies; Gypsy; George M.!; Hello, Dolly!; On the Town; Seven Brides for Seven
Brothers; The Music Man and Singin’ in the Rain...to name just a few. She would like to thank her
Mother for her never ending support, her love that makes every moment a treasure and for the
knowledge that glitter really does make the day better!
EMILY MORGAN (Hope Harcourt) is excited to return to Phoenix Festival Theater. Most
recently, Emily performed in 2nd Star Productions Guys and Dolls as a Hot Box Girl; the Suburban
Players’ Wizard of Oz as Barrister, Tree, Poppy, Jitterbug, Ozian, and Winkie; Just Off
Broadway’s 25th…Spelling Bee as Marcy Park; Cockpit in Court’s Thoroughly Modern Millie as
Rita/Ensemble; Phoenix Festival Theatre’s Fiddler on the Roof as Chava; Suburban Players’
Shrek as Elf, Three Blind Mice, Rat Tapper; and Dundalk Community Theatre’s Leader of the
Pack as Mickey. Away from the stage, Emily is a family law, adoption, guardianship, and estate
planning attorney. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their love and support.
JULIE PARRISH (Reno Sweeney/Musical Director) has musically directed and/or played in the
pit for past Phoenix Festival Theater shows (Hello, Dolly!, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling
Bee), but is excited to perform on stage with this production of Anything Goes! By day, Julie is
the Director of Performing Arts and Chair of the Music Department at the John Carroll School.
Local stage credits include The Sound of Music (Maria), Shrek (Fiona), Me & My Girl (Sally),
Curtains, Songs for a New World, Titanic (Kate McGowan), Urinetown (Hope), and Urinetown
(Little Becky). Local music direction credits include Children’s Playhouse of Maryland, Cockpit in
Court at CCBC Essex, Teatro101, Pumpkin Theatre and Spotlighters Theatre. Regional credits
include Big River (Mary Jane), Noises Off! (Poppy), Moon River, Annie Get Your Gun, and South
Pacific. Julie holds a BFA in Music Theatre Performance from Elon University. A huge thank you,
as always, to Todd, Isabelle, Tommy, Amelia & Faith for your love and support!
SYDNEY PHIPPS (Cameraman/Ensemble) is making her stage debut with Phoenix Festival
Theater in Anything Goes. She is currently studying vocal performance and performance arts at
Harford Community College. Prior to this, she starred in The 25th Annual Putnam County
Spelling Bee as Rona Lisa Peretti. She is very grateful to have the opportunity to perform with
Phoenix Festival Theater and is excited for future productions.
LISA RIGSBY (Ensemble) is very excited to be returning to PFT after appearing in Mame last
season in the role of Pageen Ryan. Lisa has performed all over the Baltimore area including
Spotlighters Theater, Cockpit in Court at CCBC Essex, and Sillouette Stages. Favorite roles
include Gloria in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, Urleen in Footloose and
Nellie in Jekyll and Hyde just to name a few. Theater has always been a passion for Lisa as well
as working with and meeting new and wonderful people. Thank you so much to James for this
opportunity! Enjoy the show!
JOSHUA ROBINSON (Steward/Ensemble) is performing for the second time on the Phoenix
Festival Theater stage, and he is super excited to be a part of such an amazing cast. Most
recently, he has performed as Valentine/ensemble in Mary Poppins and as the Shakespeare
ancestor in The Addams Family. Huge thanks to everyone coming out to support the show and
best of luck to the entire cast and crew.
LINDSAY ROSSER (Ensemble) is a student and member of The John Carroll School theater
department under the direction of Larry Hensley and Kim Brueggeman. Past roles include Lily St.
Regis in Annie and Bambi Bernett in John Carroll School’s production of Curtains in the fall of
2015. She has performed in Phoenix Festival Theater productions including the Spring 2015
production of The Wizard of Oz as a member of the company and was a member of the chorus
and dance company in their most recent production Mary Poppins. Lindsay was also a four year
member of the Get 2 Act Summer Theatre Company under the direction of Tim Baldwin. She
performed in Godspell, Aladdin, as “Babette” in Beauty and the Beast, the orphan “July” in Annie,
“The Baker’s Wife” in Into the Woods, “Tobias Ragg” in Sweeney Todd, “Eulalie Shinn” in The
Music Man.
NATE STAUFFER (Sir Evelyn Oakleigh) is thrilled to be making his Phoenix Festival Theater
debut! Prior to this, his only theatrical experiences were with the Theater Arts Council at the
University of Pennsylvania. Favorite past roles include Chris Keller in All My Sons and Marius
in Les Miserables. He wishes to thank his mom for allowing him to move home for the summer as
he prepares to travel to Malaysia to teach English through the Fulbright program in the winter!
BECKY TITELMAN (Virtue) grew up in the Forest Hill area, attended Mountain Christian School
and John Carroll School, and then went on to earn her BFA in Musical Theatre, as well as a
Dance Minor, from Elon College in 2000. She has performed for professional theaters all over the
East Coast, including Main Street Theatre in PA, Hershey Park in PA, Wild Adventures in GA,
Allenberry Playhouse in PA, and Seaside Music Theatre in FL. Becky has been teaching dance
for over 14 years in studios from Georgia to New York City, and she continues to teach tap and
musical theatre classes here in the Bel Air area at Harford Dance Center, County Ballet, and for
Theatreworks…Live!. Some of her favorite roles include Mame in Mame, Sheila in A Chorus Line,
Rizzo in Grease, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Anna in The King and I, and Maria in The Sound of
Music. Becky is also a children’s book author with seven published novels, including the popular

thrilled to be tapping alongside some of her students again! Bon Voyage!
JULIE WADEY (Charity) has been dancing since the age of six. She trained in the UK and
completed all her examinations in tap, modern, jazz and ballet, and then went on to study for her
diploma in choreography and later set up her own school “Phoenix Dance Academy” in the
UK. This is her second production with Phoenix Festival Theater, having recently appeared in
Mary Poppins. Julie moved to the US in January 2016 and prior to that performed in many
production in the UK including Mame, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Bridagdoon, Kiss Me Kate and
Oklahoma to name a few. She also had the pleasure of choreographing a number of shows
including Oliver and various antomimes. She really enjoys dancing, especially tap, and her role
as Charity an Angel in this production has given her a great sense of pride especially as her Mum
and Dad are flying all the way from the UK to watch her.
GABE WEBSTER (Captain/Ensemble) is a freshman at HCC. Favorite theatre roles include
Uncle Fester (Addams Family), Mayor Shinn (Music Man), Narrator/Mysterious Man (Into the
Woods), Christopher Belling (Curtains), Jesus (Godspell), Beast (Beauty & the Beast) & Jonas

WHO’S WHO IN THE PRODUCTION
LISA L. BOEREN (Stage Manager) has worked on over 50 productions in the Baltimore area for
many companies including Timonium Dinner Theatre, Spotlighters Theatre, The Matthew
Players, Tony’s Troubadours, Rising Star Productions, Mornington Players and Merrick’s Dinner
Theatre, which she managed with her husband, Al, for three years. Lisa is the Box Office
Manager for CCBC and also serves as the Administrative Manager for Cockpit in Court Summer
Theatre in residence on the CCBC Essex campus. In her spare time, she sits on the Board of
Directors for Dundalk Community Theatre and is the treasurer for the Twirltastix Boosters. But
above all, her favorite jobs are wife to Al and mommy to Andrew and Angela!
G. MAURICE “MOE” CONN, III (Set Designer) has an MFA in Scene Design and Technical
Theatre. After spending the last 10 years as an Associate Professor in rural Southeast Kentucky
teaching technical theatre at the University of the Cumberlands, Moe decided it was time to move
back to the city and more theatre opportunities. Moe has been doing technical theatre since
1993 as a Designer, Technician, Technical Director, Educator and Rigger in Kentucky, Nebraska,
New York, and Missouri. His design credits include The Boys Next Door, Oklahoma!, The Secret
Garden, and A Christmas Carol, to name a few. Moe has even worked with Sapsis-Rigging Inc.
during Fashion Week in New York City. When not backstage, Moe can be found helping
coordinate the Long Reach Long Riders cross country charity motorcycle ride to benefit
Broadway Cares/Equity fights AIDS and ESTA’s Behind the Scenes. For more information and

STELLA DIPESO (Costume Designer) is excited to be working on this great production! Stella
has created costumes for Grease; Mame; Hello, Dolly!; Oliver; Seussical; Bye, Bye Birdie; White
Christmas; Beauty and the Beast; Peter Pan; Singing in the Rain; Babes in Toyland; Our Miss
Brooks and most recently, Mary Poppins. Stella is the proud mother of three beautiful young
ladies, Kristin, Alexa and Anastasia. She would like to send a special thank you to her wonderful
husband, Paul, for always being supportive. “Break a Leg” to the cast and crew. Enjoy the

BECKY FLICKINGER (Costume Designer) is thrilled to be working at HCC again! She is always
in awe of the two amazing ladies with whom she is working on costumes for this show! She
would like to thank her husband, Steve, and daughters, Sammi and Delany, for their love and

THOMAS P. GARDNER (Lighting Designer) is a graduate of The Community College of
Baltimore County with an Associate degree in Theatre. He is currently working on his Bachelor of
Arts degree in Design and Production at Towson. Thomas has worked on academic shows like
The Laramie Project at CCBC, and After at Towson and has also designed in local theaters such
as Tidewater Players, Children's Playhouse of Maryland, Phoenix Festival Theater, and Cockpit
in Court. He currently works as a theater technician at CCBC and Master Electrician for Cockpit
in Court. This is Thomas' second show at PFT as a light designer. Enjoy the show.
JAMES HUNNICUTT (Director) is returning to Phoenix Festival Theater after a long hiatus. His
last performances here were in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and A Chorus
Line. By day, he works across the street at the new Towson University building, referred to as
TUNE. And he also manages Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre that is in residence on the
Community College of Baltimore County, Essex Campus. He thanks his wonderful cast for
making his first Anything Goes experience a fun one.
LARRY HENSLEY (Company Manager/Producer) is honored to serve as company manager/
producer for Phoenix Festival Theater. Larry has produced, choreographed, directed, and
performed in over 100 shows. Some of his highlights include Chicago, Blood Brothers, Into the
Woods, Evita, Damn Yankees, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Godspell, Cabaret, Oliver,
Nunsense, Beauty and the Beast, Seussical the Musical, Assassins, Bye Bye Birdie, Footloose,
Anything Goes, Peter Pan, Annie, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has worked in several
children’s theatre venues that include Young People’s Theatre Program, Kids On Broadway, and
Harford Dance Theatre. Larry is extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to work
with such a creative and talented group of performers, directors, and designers.
JEFF KANYUCK (Technical Director) has worked in technical theater since he was 15 at Anchorage West High School in Anchorage, Alaska. In 1994 he joined the International Association
of Theater and Stage Employees Local 918. At the same time he worked for Out North as a
Technical Director, UPS and the Anchorage Daily News. He has worked on shows such as
Crazy for You, Diavolo, Cats, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Greatful Dead and many
more. In 2004, Jeff moved from Anchorage to Maryland where he joined the HCC Cultural Events
family as Technical Director.
WILL POXON (Orchestra Manager/Conductor) is a recent graduate of UMBC, where he
studied Vocal Music Education and Political Science. He has played drums and conducted the
orchestra for many shows in the Baltimore area. Will has previously been seen on the PFT stage
in Avenue Q (Nicky), and frequently acts in other local theaters, including Cockpit in Court and
Dundalk Community Theater.
