FRD-X2 FRD-X2 Premium is slightly tougher than FRD-X. It is suitable for a wide spectrum of applications, with an excellent balance between material removal rate, free-cutting ability and tool life. Due to its latest generation synthesis and excellent thermal resistance it is particularly suitable for high temperature ceramic bonds. polyimide phenolic vitrified hybrid FRD-X2 FRD-X2 FRD-X2 Coated Products FRD-X2 N56 FRD-X2 N30 FRD-X2 NS60 FRD-X2 C50 Nickel coating at 56% of total particle weight. Recommended for phenolic resin and polyimide bonds. Improves the mechanical retention of FRD particles in the bond. Improves wheel life and surface finish. Nickel coating at 30% of total particle weight. Recommended for resin and polyimide bonded wheels, for optimised tool life with good particle retention, reduced grinding forces and reduced heat generation. Nickel coating at 60% of total particle weight. Recommended where highest mechanical retention in phenolic resin bonds and polyimide bonding systems is required. Maximises mechanical retention and heat dissipation at most aggressive material removal rates. Copper coating at 50% of total of FRD particle weight. Recommended for dry grinding applications. Reduces heat generation. Improves chemical and mechanical diamond particle retention.
