WE’RE A CAUSE. Scholarship Recipients were asked, “How has the Kettle Moraine YMCA made an impact on your life?” “I’m a single mother of 3. The Y has been a positive constant for my kids and I. It has been a bit of sanctuary where we could get away from it all and play and relax as a family. I have found on-site babysitting a lifesaver. I’m able to go workout and relieve stress and tension that I would not have otherwise been able to do. My kids love taking the classes you offer and we love going to family fun nights.” “If my family no longer received financial assistance, they’d lose a part of who they are. They are more than members here. They’re gymnasts, swimmers, runners and happy kids. I couldn’t imagine taking something so positive out of their lives.” SAVE THE DATE! 14 ANNUAL GOLF OUTING Monday, August 24 GIVE A LITTLE...GET A LOT When you give to the Y, you continue to strengthen our community and move us all forward. You can assist us by doing the following: • Children must be the correct age of the program on the first day of class. • Parents should not stay in “By Myself” classes. Our experience shows that this is very distracting for children. If your child is struggling without you, our instructors will let you know. • Sign up for multiple sessions of the same class because each one will teach your child something new! • Look for back to back classes so you can get a longer workout in. Thank you for your cooperation.
