June 05, 2015 CLASSROOM NEWS Hayama International School | Junior Kindergarten | Classroom (A -3) Weekly Recap Spring is in full swing! In class, the students have been having a lot of fun learning new songs. As well, we have been focusing on the season of Spring and getting hands on with seeds, leafs, grass, berries and flowers everyday at the park. With our up coming field trip to the Aquarium, we will be soon switching modes to an Underwater / Ocean animal theme. We have already been hard at work doing daily crafts - painting, cutting and gluing. We will decorate our hallway with these fun projects together with the other classes to create a fun underwater world! Also, we have been learning shapes and opposites through our new worksheets and doing pages from our workbooks as well. Mr. Davids Clsss Parent Teacher Conferences This years P/T Conferences are fast approaching! As a reminder, they will take place on June 17th and June 18th. Students do not have regular class, but are allowed to come to school on the day of our meeting. We will have staff on hand to watch the children in the “Big Room” during our meeting. . Some parents have sent me requests about which days they are able to attend. If you have a preference on which days works best (17th or 18th) - Please let me know as soon as possible and we will schedule around that. Our meetings will only run about 15 or 20 minutes and we will discuss as much as we can in that timeframe. Lastly, if there is a need for a Language Interpreter,Please make the request as soon as possible. :) 1 June 05, 2015 Important Dates : Please mark these important dates on calendar : June 17 & June 18 - Parent/ Teacher Conferences.
