4 Easy steps to set up business in HFZA
1. Complete the simple Licence application.
2. (a) For Branches:
Submit the company incorporation documents (already in your company files) and Board Resolution.
(b) For New Incorporation:
Submit FZE/FZC Application.
3. Sign Agreement with HFZA and settle all payments.
4. Receive Licence and start business operations. For FZE/FZC company incorporation documents are also issued.
Simple legal framework and documentation
1. Branches of local company OR international company:
Basic company documents like Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum & Articles of Association (already in your
company files), Director Board Resolution to open branch and to appoint manager (notarised and attested) need
to be submitted.
2. New Incorporation: FZE (single shareholder) OR FZC (2 to 5 shareholders) - Both Limited Liability Entities:
Personal details of the owners including passport copy, Bank reference letter and letter of appointment for the
manager need to be submitted.
If the shareholder is a company, instead of individuals, basic company documents like Certificate of Incorporation,
Memorandum & Articles of Association (already in your company files), Director Board Resolution to incorporate
FZE/FZC and to appoint manager (notarised and attested) and bank reference letter need to be submitted.
