Handling and Disposition of Advertising Materials
Education: AANMA’s flagship publications – Allergy & Asthma
Today magazine and The MA Report newsletter – and Web site
(breatherville.org) are consumer lifelines to medical news and
healthy living.
Advocacy: 2004 highlights include lifesaving federal and state
legislation on behalf of students with asthma and anaphylaxis,
exposure of unregulated asthma and COPD medications, and
groundbreaking Medicaid patient/provider research.
Outreach: AANMA reaches new communities every year. Our
annual Asthma Awareness Day Capitol Hill highlights critical
issues that need national attention. Nurse Christy, AANMA’s nurse
educator, responds to patient concerns by phone and e-mail.
AANMA’s Hispanic Outreach Program includes Spanish-language
materials and a volunteer network. And thousands of other
volunteers take AANMA to local neighborhoods.
All advertising materials should be shipped securely packed and identified as
to issue(s) of insertion, advertiser, agency of record and any special instructions. Materials received for insertion will not be released until after publication of issue. Requests for return of materials must be done in writing. Please
allow 48 hours for processing. Publisher will otherwise keep all materials on
hand for one full year following original date of insertion. All materials are
destroyed one year after last insertion.
Production Charges
Editorial changes, typesetting, conversion, composition, artwork, color separations, digital file output, reverses and strip-ins will be done at request and
charged back to the client. This includes supplied advertising that has to be
