ABOUT ISTANBUL
The city where East meets West, with more than 3000 years of history, Istanbul has
been the home to many diverse communities and cultures over centuries. The former
capital of Eastern Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires is nowadays a modern city
where the beauty of nature meets the treasures of the past.
Today Istanbul is a huge metropolis connecting continents, cultures, and religions and is
home to around eleven million people and is one of the greatest business and cultural
centres in Turkey.
Accessibility from anywhere in the world by over 200 International flights daily and only
2-3 hours flying time away from Central Europe. Our International airport is only 28
miles away from the city center.

Istanbul has four distinct seasons, with spring and autumn being the most pleasant
seasons in which to visit. Spring temperatures range from 16°C (61°F) in April to 25°C
(77°F) in June. Autumn temperatures reach on average 18°C (64°F) in September to 9°C
(48°F) in November. Mid-summer temperatures can reach 30°C (86°F) between July and
August, which are also the driest months. Winter temperatures can drop to 2°C (36°F)
between December and January. Rainfall is at its highest between November and January
with an average 90 mm per month, whilst humidity can reach 60% plus.
Istanbul sets its clocks to Eastern European Time which is GMT / UTC plus two hours
(plus three hours during summer). Daylight saving come into effect from the last Sunday
in March to the last Sunday in September.

SUNSET BAR & GRILL
Sunset is a virtual escapade for city people; situated in a
circular building surrounded by a green garden. Ever since it
opened, its scrumptious modern Californian cooking has been
unchanged. Sunset speciality is meat; but dishes from the
ottoman cuisine, sushi and fish dishes are also offered.

360 Restaurant & Bar is located on the terrace floor of one of the landmarks of Istanbul,
the historical Mýsýr (Egypt) building which has been built by the architect Hovsep Aznavur
for Abbas Halim Pasha of Egypt in 1910, as his winter residence
and later was converted into an apartment by his heirs. The
Catholic St. Antoin Church is located next to Mýsýr Apartment and
its bell tower is the closest view of 360 terrace. The name of the
restaurant originates from its spectacular view of Istanbul with an
angle of 360 degree and the same concept has also been continued
in the restaurant’s menu. A journey with an angle of 360 degree to
the World’s famous cuisines includes giant shrimp in jar,
Cinderella’s pumpkin soup, Salmon in parchement paper,
Chocolate Death and Lemon Cheese cake souffle are only the few of these delicious stops
of this journey.
FERIYE RESTAURANT
Feriye is spectacularly located in what were once the ottoman
sultan's palatial grounds, high above the shores of the
glistening Bosphorus Strait. Innovative menu with spectacular

FLOWER MARKET
Located on Ýstiklal Street in Beyoðlu district (the old Pera) Çiçek
Pasajý, meaning flower market, originally was a services alley for
apartment houses, which were built in 1860. At that time this area
was the most fashionable part of town. The first vendors to come in
here were the flower sellers, hence the name given to the arcade.
Today a casual eating-place, the colorful Çicek Pasajý houses a
crowded and bustling arcade of taverns. Next to it is the Balýk PazarýIstanbul’s famed fish market-which is somewhat of a misnomer
because here at all times of the day you can find noisy, friendly
people haggling not only over fish but also over flowers, fruit, spices,
and much more.
