Galapagos 2016
Galápagos 2016 Personally escorted tours to the Enchanted Islands aboard the privately chartered deluxe M/V Eclipse Nazca Booby © OA Galápagos Galápagos is an extraordinary place. Nowhere else can you experience such close encounters with remarkable animals like giant tortoises, marine iguanas, flightless cormorants, blue-footed and red-footed boobies, Galápagos penguins, and sea lions galore. The sheer amount of wildlife is amazing and even more exceptional is the behaviour of the wildlife, which actually seems oblivious to your presence. For a truly magical Galápagos expedition we invite you to join our proprietors Richard and Dawn Furlong aboard the privately chartered M/V Eclipse. We will explore the islands for a full week with an option to join an exciting pre-voyage tour of Ecuador visiting Quito, Cuenca and Guayaquil. Blue-footed booby © Shutterstock / Steffen Foerster >> Situated 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, the Galápagos Islands are a living laboratory, offering visitors a unique interaction with nature. >> The M/V Eclipse is an upscale expedition vessel, large enough to travel in comfort and safety, small enough to negotiate inter-island landings with agility. She accommodates up to 48 guests ... half the number usually found on a ship of this size. This means you enjoy generous accommodation, and benefit from the atmosphere and exclusivity of a smaller yacht. >> Expert naturalists accompany small groups on landings. There are also opportunities to swim, snorkel or kayak. Galápagos Marine Iguana © Shutterstock / Gudkov Andrey >> The Furlongs Travel proprietors escort throughout. They have been running Galápagos tours for over 10 years, and their first-hand knowledge and experience will help you get the most from this holiday of a lifetime.
