After finishing the unit on personal narratives, we charged into argumentative writing. Students are sharpening their thinking skills about characters in literature and how they are developed. Students have also been studying weather and water. They began by looking at the current water crisis in Flint, Michigan and learning about the lack of fresh water available to people around the world.
