Twinshock Trials NZ News news @ www.vmxlivewire.gen.nz Issue 3 / Autumn 2013 Another great trial at Ash Kent’s Property at Aramoho, Wanganui. The Expert for the day was Glen Bullock on his TLR200 and it seemed with the range of downhill segments of sections that the 4 stoke Hondas came into their own with TLR200 riders winning the Expert, A & B Grade. Gerard Bull took the A Grade from his grandson Joseph Rivers (KT Kawasaki) and he beat his dad Julian (Fantic) Rovers into third. In the B Grade Craig Bagley took out his first event win by one point from Tod (Fantic 200) Palenski while I trailed in a distant third. The next event on the Twinshock calendar is Sunday May 26th at the Hughes property Kakariki Rd, Halcombe for the Manawatu Twinshock Championships. There will be prizes on the day from Kiwi Rider, Fox and Belray Oils. ‘Classic Cover’ have great deals on classic bike insurance whether road, race, dirt or trials. As an example, a trials bike can be insured for $72 per year ‘covering while in transit to events on a trailer as well as locked on your property.’ I highly recommend you contact Larry Barnett at larry.barnett@classiccover.co.nz as you may find your trials bike is not covered by your personal effects or home & contents/property insurance policies. 2013 Twinshock Trials Event Programme May 26th – Sunday – Hughes Property, Kakariki Rd – Halcombe – ‘Manawatu Championship’ June 16th – Sunday – Earnslaw One Forest – Wanganui August 25th – Sunday – Bullocks Quarry – Bulls September 29th – Sunday – Wood’s Property Akatarawa Valley – ‘Hutt Valley Championship’ October 20th – Sunday – Bullocks Quarry – Bulls November 17th – Sunday – ‘BSA Shield’ – Linton Quarry – Manawatu – Manawatu/Orion November 24th – Sunday – Upukongaro Shelterview Jetsprints – ‘Wanganui Championship’ To confirm venues/times please contact Robert Cochrane robertc@amcom.co.nz Ph 06-343-7585 Our good friend Mick Andrews riding in the trials display at Stafford Classic Show May 3rd 2013 TYRE TALK - IN STOCK NOW ARE THE Mitas 21inch trials front tyre.
