HORSE
RACING IS:
A sport full of stories
A sport full of heroes
A global sport
A sport full of adrenalin, power & beauty
A sport that has no publication at all for fans…
We write about:
Racing in exciting places
Life with racehorses
Famous horses and interesting people
Things people didn’t know they didn’t know
Things that are fun to read about – even if you’re not
into racing (call it ”Lifestyle” if you like)
We have received many many positive
comments from customers,
horsemen and breeders.

CHICA ,

America’s first black sport stars? Well, they weren’t basketball
players—but jockeys. When the Kentucky Derby launched in
1875, 13 of the 15 jockeys were African-American. And the first
jockey to win the Kentucky Derby three times—in 1884, 1890,
and 1891—was Isaac Murphy, the son of a former slave. Black
jockeys, grooms and horsetrainers who sometimes called themselves racehorse men dominated the sport until the early twentieth century. Today, only a few black jockeys compete at the U.S
racetracks. Race Horse Men—How Slavery and Freedom Were
Made at the Racetrack by Katherine C. Mooney illuminates the
role of these often forgotten men in Americans’ historic struggle
to define the meaning of freedom.

South Korea is small — only about the size of Maine or Ireland — but it
is home to some 50 million people. Of course, 75% of these people
live in the 25% of the country that is not covered in mountains.
To look at it another way, close to 40 million people live in an area the
size of New York City. Still there is no chaos – just the opposite.
This is a country where everything runs on time, people bow politely,
and efficiency is the mantra. It is also a country where horse racing
has an annual attendance of more than 16 million people.
Follow us as we expose the horse racing world’s best kept secret:
Racing in South Korea.
