King Rama II gave this temple a new name, ‘Wat Arun Ratchatharam’. King Rama IV later renamed it ‘Wat Arun Ratchawararam’. Vimanmek Mansion Vimanmek Mansion is the largest golden teakwood building in the world, built in 1900 by King Rama V as a Royal Residence. The 3-storey mansion features elaborate architectural styles with western influence, and contains 31 exhibition rooms.
