assists you to:

• maintain current skills
and independence
• build mobility, strength
and confidence.
As a restorative service, Good
to be home is designed to
enhance your quality of life and
independence by supporting you
to do everyday tasks for yourself.
Our Good to be home team
Providing a goals-based, restorative
service throughout New Zealand.
Our professional Good to be home team works
alongside you, and your family and whānau, each
step of the way. We provide all members of our team
with on-going training, including completing formal
New Zealand Qualifications Authority certification in
health, disability and aged support foundation skills.
We tailor our Good to be home services to suit your
individual needs and goals.
Examples of activities or daily needs you
may need support for include:
• washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• preparing and managing meals
• shopping needs
• taking medication safely
• exercises that will increase your mobility
and strength
• assistance to achieve mobility goals such
as walking to the park
• learning new skills to manage symptoms of any
illness you may have such as breathing exercises
for people with respiratory problems
• being part of a community group, club or
activity programme.
