Congratulations to our local students on their culmination. Best wishes to the graduating
students and to the High School seniors beginning an exciting new chapter in their lives.
The Calabasas Chamber’s Education Committee was honored to acknowledge well
deserving graduates with certificates of achievement and scholarships.
THE BRITISH ARE COMING! The City of Calabasas and the Calabasas Chamber are hosting
the Special Olympics World Games Great Britain athletes next month! Host Town
volunteers are still needed for the activities’ planned for our visiting athletes.
Visit the chamber website www.calabasaschamber.com and sign-up for the opportunities still open for volunteers.
If you are unable to volunteer it’s not too late to make a tax deductible donation to Host Town Calabasas.
As a reminder for our members, every month the chamber website lists the upcoming chamber events. Please join
us for the Good Morning Calabasas Networking Breakfast each month at the beautiful Calabasas Country Club.
Enjoy a wonderful meal; bring plenty of business cards and network, network, network! Check the calendar on our
website for the next scheduled breakfast.
Planning ahead…mark your calendars for October 17 & 18 for the 2015 Calabasas Pumpkin Festival. Information
on the Business Expo and Corporate Sponsorship opportunities are now available on the chamber website.

The Calabasas community will be host to Great Britain’s Special Olympics athletes this July 21, 22, 23 & 24, prior to
the World Games opening ceremony. The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce, the City of Calabasas and King Gillette
Ranch will provide accommodations and cultural activities over four days, and the opportunity for our guests to
experience life in our city. The Calabasas Chamber Host Town Committee is asking for your help in making our Host
Town efforts a success. We are reaching out to businesses and the community to consider volunteering or making a
donation to this very special event. Your tax-deductible donation will help ensure the delegation can experience all
that makes Calabasas special.

The torch ceremony begins at the Calabasas Tennis and Swim
Center at 10:30 a.m. The Officer and Special Olympics World
Games athletes will leave the Tennis and Swim Center, left on
Park Sorrento, right on Park Granda, left on Calabasas Road
and run the torch up Calabasas Road, left on Civic Center Way
to City Hall Plaza.
We invite our businesses & residents to line the streets to
City Hall with cheers of encouragement, supporting the
2015 Special Olympics World Games!
