This machine incorporates the most modern
technology, and is designed with experience
gained over many years, from the supply of
over 100,000 seaming machines, to both can
manufacturers and can fillers.
The Lanico SVA is a fully automatic can seaming
machine manufactured from stainless steel. It
can operate as a stand-alone unit or in combination with a filling machine. In the stand-alone
version, the product in and out feed heights
remain unchanged, enabling product height
changes to be done simply by raising or lowering
the machine head. Infeed and discharge
conveyors are available as optional extras.
Special change parts are available to make
diameter changes quick and easy.
When this seamer is combined with a filler, modifications are possible which enable the combination to be both compact and economic.
The models SVA 60E/40E are designed as a
seaming module to be integrated into filling
machines.

Process description
Filled cans are taken via a controlled rotary system
to the seaming head. At the same time a lid is taken
from the end magazine and is also fed to the seaming
head. An air cylinder then raises both the can and its
lid to the seaming position, the can is spun, and the
seaming operation is then completed automatically
by two seaming rollers. Model SVA 50 and 60 is
equipped with 4 rollers, SVA 100 got 8 seaming rollers.
After seaming is completed the can is lowered and
fed onto the discharge conveyor, simultaneously the
next can to be seamed is fed into the seamer together
with its lid.
The change parts are designed to enable changeovers
to be done very quickly. Diameter changes can be
done in less than 10 minutes and height changes in
2 minutes. On request a motorized system is available
for height changes.
SVA 30
Machine with clocked can transport, thus particularly
suitable for dry, granular and lumpy bulk solids, bakery
items and all kind of powder, filled into tinplate, card
board and plastic cans.
In “W” version also suitable for paste-like products.

SVA 40
Particularly designed for seaming large dimensioned cans up to 190 mm diameter. Usually
used for dry, granular and lumpy bulk solids,
bakery items and all kind of powder, similar to
the model SVA 30.
SVA 50 W
Seaming Machine with continuous can
transport, thus particularly suitable for liquid
and paste like products such as hot filled soup,
Feta cheese, pastry, meat or overfilled Wiener
sausages in brine.
On request, the machines can be equipped
with a steaming device in order to achieve an
aseptic headspace and, furthermore, a slight
vacuum.
SVA 50 T
Automatic Seamer, similar to model SVA 30,
but due to the use of 4 seaming rollers with
considerably increased output.
This machine is specially recommended for
granular and lumpy bulk solids, bakery items
and all kinds of powder.
On request, the machine can be equipped
with a gassing device and, thereby, is perfectly
adapted for oxygen sensible products.

History
Since our foundation in the year 1919 LANICO
