About Walken In His Shoes
In this light-hearted comedy, that will "wow" your heart, the four members of the
Christopher Walken Club, (CWC) take impersonating CW to a whole different level. Sit in
on a CWC meeting as their world is turned upside-down when a female wants to join the
club. Although most members are excited to get the opportunity to be this close to a real
woman, they feel the timing could not be worse as they're getting ready for The First
Annual Christopher Walken "Beauty" Pageant. That's right, Miss America has nothing on
these men and women as they try to impress the judges to be crowned Mr. or Mrs.
Christopher Walken. Come see the Big Hair, Big Eyes and Big Laughs.
About the writer / director:
Ruben Rosthenhausler is a native from Tucson, AZ. He has been a main-stay on Tucson's
stages as a singer, dancer, and actor. He has been happily performing with The Arizona
Rose Theatre Company for the past 27 years, and has been thankful for every minute of it.
Through the theater, he met his wife Leah. Together, they wrote their first screenplay,
"The Wish Keeper" which was a quarter-finalist in Cinequest Screenplay Competition in
2014. He is excited to be making the national premiere of his comedic play, Walken In
His Shoes at the Capital Fringe Festival.
