We later enjoy free time in Alnwick. (B D) Tuesday 18th October Following breakfast we visit the quaint seaside village of Alnmouth, with free time to explore. We later travel to Cragside, an extraordinary Victorian house with gardens, lakes and woodland. Feel free to enjoy a spot of lunch in the tea room before we see inside this beautiful residence. (B D) Wednesday 19th October After breakfast we head north for the historic Bamburgh Castle, where we enjoy a guided tour. We then drive along the coast to the famous Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Here you can explore the island village, with time to enjoy some lunch before we head to iconic Lindisfarne Caste for a self-guided tour. We then depart for our hotel before the tide comes in! (B D) Thursday 20th October This morning we drive to the fantastic open-air museum of Beamish. Experience a taste of history, from the Victorian era to Second World war. Following a wonderful day, we begin our return journey home. (B) Bedrooms: Nicely decorated, comfortable with en-suite.
