The Answer to your Wood Freeman Problems!
I am sure that you all know by now that Mike Freeman has closed
the doors on the Wood Freeman pilot production. Over the years
this pilot has been purchased by many fishermen in the Gulf Coast
and elsewhere.
With the closing of Wood Freeman there has been a lot of concern
raised about the replacement of drives and pilots. ComNav has the
answer to both problems.
Having to replace the drive is the biggest concern as many of the
boats have mechanical steering. Until now there has not been an
economical replacement for the old Woody drive. ComNav now
has the Model 520 drive, which has the ability to steer most any
boat that had a Wood Freeman mechanical drive on it.
The NX2 Multi XL is Here!
The new NX2 Multi XL mast
display is an extremely powerful
and simple piece of navigation
equipment! This single function,
large digit, crystal clear display can
be controlled by your NX2 Remote
or NX2 Multi. It can be installed
anywhere and can be configured to
display any function available from
the NEXUS network.
Pilots are never a problem when you choose ComNav. The old
Wood Freeman’s are “hunting” pilots where as ComNav pilots are
not. What this means to the fisherman is fuel savings that could pay
for the upgrade in one season. With the cost of fuel skyrocketing this
has become a major concern. We have a number of these systems in
the Gulf now and in only three months the owners have noticed a
savings in fuel costs. - Dan Pantages, VP Sales & Marketing
10 Year Warranty on Compasses!
ComNav Marine’s recreational boat
compasses are guaranteed for 10
years. The warranty program will
cover the complete marine compass
range, including sail racing compasses.
